Setup

- First Cycle (Cleaning): Fill the water reservoir to the MAX line with clean water. Place the empty brew basket and carafe in position. Run a full brew cycle without coffee grounds to clean the internal components. Discard the water.
- Placement: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- Set Clock: Plug in the coffee maker. The digital display will flash. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to set the current time. The clock will be set automatically after a few seconds of inactivity.
Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid of the water reservoir. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water to your desired cup level, using the markings on the side. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable filter into the brew basket. For best results, use one level scoop (provided) of ground coffee per cup. Adjust to taste. Close the brew basket lid securely.
- Place Carafe: Ensure the empty glass carafe is placed correctly on the heating plate.
- Start Brewing: Press the Power (⑂) button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Keep Warm: After brewing is complete, the heating plate will keep the coffee warm for up to 2 hours before automatically shutting off.

Using the Auto-Brew Function
- Follow steps 1-3 from 'Brewing Coffee'.
- Set Auto Time: Press the 'Auto' button. The display will flash. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to set your desired brew start time.
- Activate Auto-Brew: Press the 'Auto' button again to confirm the setting. The 'Auto' indicator light will illuminate. The coffee maker will automatically start brewing at the programmed time.

Maintenance and Cleaning
