4. Attach Lens Filter: Always attach a new, clean disposable lens filter to the thermometer probe before each use. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

1. Power On: Press the power button (I/O) to turn on the thermometer.
2. Attach New Filter: Ensure a new, clean disposable lens filter is securely attached to the probe.
3. Position in Ear: Gently insert the probe firmly into the ear canal. For accurate readings, the temperature sensor must be properly positioned.
4. Start Measurement: Press and release the start button.
5. Read Temperature: The measured temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.
6. Remove Used Filter: After measurement, press the lens filter release button to detach the used lens filter.
7. Discard Filter: Dispose of the used lens filter immediately. Do not reuse lens filters.

• Cleaning the Probe: After removing the disposable lens filter, gently wipe the probe and tip with an alcohol swab or a soft cloth dampened with alcohol. Allow it to dry completely before storing.
• Cleaning the Device Body: Wipe the main body of the thermometer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Storage: Store the thermometer in its protective case at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Use two 1.5V AA (LR06) batteries.

• Sweating: Excessive sweating can affect skin temperature and lead to lower readings.
