Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Battery is discharged or not properly connected. | Charge the battery using the power adapter. Ensure the battery is correctly installed. |
| No signal detected. | LNB cable not connected, incorrect satellite parameters, dish misalignment, or LNB fault. | Check LNB cable connection. Verify satellite parameters. Adjust dish azimuth and elevation. Check LNB for damage. |
| "LNB Short" error message. | Short circuit in the LNB cable or LNB itself. | Disconnect the LNB cable and check for any damage or exposed wires. Test with a different LNB or cable if possible. |
| Poor signal quality despite high strength. | Interference, slight misalignment, or LNB noise. | Fine-tune dish alignment. Check for obstructions. Consider replacing LNB if problem persists. |
User Tips
- Pre-configure: Before going on-site, pre-configure known satellite parameters to save time during installation.
- Start Broad: When searching for a satellite, make broad adjustments to the dish, then fine-tune once a signal is detected.
- Use Audio Alarm: The audible signal lock alarm is very useful for fine-tuning without constantly looking at the screen.
- External Display: For prolonged setup or group viewing, utilize the AV OUT feature to connect to a larger screen.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available firmware updates that might improve performance or add features.
