1. Introduction

The NITERUS HT-9600 is a portable air quality detector designed to measure particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10, and 0.3μm, 2.5μm, 10μm particles) and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. It features a 2.8-inch LCD display for clear data presentation and has a large data storage capacity for historical analysis. 2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating the device. Keep this manual for future reference.

3. Setup

3.1 Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in the package:

3.2 Battery Installation and Powering the Device

  1. When using the unit for the first time, install the supplied 9V battery. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Connect the 9V battery to the battery clip and place it inside the compartment. Close the cover securely.
  3. The meter has a battery power indication function on the LCD screen. When the display shows a low battery icon (e.g., an empty battery symbol), replace the battery promptly.
  4. The device can also be powered via USB. Connect the provided USB power adapter to the USB interface on the side of the device.

Buttons:

  • Power Key: Turns the device on/off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the Power Key to turn the device on.
  • Press and hold the Power Key to turn the device off.

4.2 Basic Measurement

  1. Ensure the device is powered on and the sampling air inlet is clear.
  2. Press the RUN button to start a measurement cycle. The device will begin drawing air and analyzing particle counts.
  3. The LCD display will show real-time data for particulate matter (0.3μm, 2.5μm, 10μm), temperature, and humidity.
  4. Press the RUN button again to stop the measurement.

4.4 Air Quality Standard Reference

The device's display includes a schematic diagram of concentration grade. The following table provides a reference for PM2.5 average standard values over 24 hours:

4.5 Data Storage and Retrieval

The HT-9600 can store up to 2000 data points. Use the Page Up (▲) and Page Down (▼) buttons to navigate through stored records. The video demonstrates accessing records.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the device exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the sampling air inlet is free from dust or obstructions.

5.2 Battery Replacement

Refer to section 3.2 for instructions on replacing the 9V battery when the low battery indicator appears on the display.

5.3 Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, store the device in its carrying case in a cool, dry place.
  • Remove the battery if storing for a very long time to prevent leakage.

8. User Tips

  • Understanding Particle Counts: The device displays particle counts in "pieces per liter" for 0.3μm, 2.5μm, and 10μm particles. Larger particles (like 10μm) are often visible as "dust specs" in the air.
  • Interpreting Air Quality: Use the provided Air Quality Standard table (Section 4.4) to interpret the concentration grade displayed on the screen. A green indicator signifies excellent air quality, while red indicates serious pollution.
