Setup
Unpacking: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
Placement: Place the machine on a sturdy, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation, especially near the large-diameter heat sink on the sides.

Dimensions of the ZM-168 machine: 420mm (width), 550mm (depth), 760mm (height).
Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food. This includes the transparent covers, tanks, agitators, and dispensing nozzles. Use mild detergent and warm water, then rinse thoroughly and dry.

Food-grade transparent cover and tank for easy observation and cleaning.
Refrigerant Filling (if applicable): If the machine was shipped by air or sea, the R22 refrigerant may have been removed due to shipping regulations. In this case, you will need to purchase R22 or R134A refrigerant locally and have a qualified technician fill the machine before use. Refer to the warning label on the compressor for details.

The imported Panasonic compressor ensures fast cooling and high horsepower.
Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a grounded 220V 50Hz electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before plugging in.
Operating Instructions
Prepare Ice Cream Mix: Prepare your desired soft ice cream mix according to its specific instructions. Ensure the mix is chilled before adding to the machine for best results.
Pour Mix into Tanks: Open the transparent covers and carefully pour the prepared ice cream mix into the two separate tanks. Each tank has a capacity of 1.8 liters. Do not overfill.
Start Machine: Close the covers securely. Turn on the main power switch. The LED display will illuminate, showing options in Chinese and English.

The LED display provides real-time information and controls.
Select Operation Mode: Use the controls on the intelligent processing system to select the desired operation mode (e.g., 'Cooling', 'Working'). The machine features a one-button operation for convenience.

The intelligent processing system simplifies operation, and the receiving box prevents drips.
Dispensing Ice Cream: Once the ice cream reaches the desired consistency (indicated on the LED display, often by 'Hardness' level), place a cone or cup under one of the dispensing handles. Pull the handle down to dispense the ice cream.

The machine offers three flavor options: individual left, individual right, and a mixed flavor from the center handle.
Three Flavors: The machine allows for two individual flavors (one from each tank) and one mixed flavor. The left handle dispenses the left tank's flavor, the right handle dispenses the right tank's flavor, and the center handle dispenses a mix of both.
Stopping Operation: When finished, turn off the machine and unplug it from the power outlet.
Maintenance
Daily Cleaning: After each day of use, completely empty the ice cream mix from the tanks. Disassemble the transparent covers, agitators, and dispensing nozzles. Wash all parts with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.
Heat Sink Maintenance: Regularly check the large-diameter heat sink for dust and debris. Clean with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to ensure optimal airflow and prevent overheating.

The large-diameter heat sink helps keep the machine running steadily, and the food-grade agitator ensures even mixing.
Gear Chain Drive System: The machine utilizes a durable gear chain drive system. Periodically inspect the chain for wear and ensure it is clean. Lubrication may be required as per professional guidance.

The durable gear chain drive system and pure copper tube condenser contribute to efficient operation.
Long-Term Storage: If storing the machine for an extended period, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned and dried. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from dust and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
