5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Unpacking and Package Contents
Upon receiving your Humsienk LiFePO4 battery, carefully inspect the package for any signs of damage. The standard package includes:

5.2 Terminal Connections
Use the provided M6 studs to securely connect your battery to your system. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent resistance and overheating. Use the insulating caps to cover exposed terminals after connection to prevent accidental short circuits.
5.3 Series and Parallel Connections
The Humsienk 12V 50Ah LiFePO4 batteries can be connected in series or parallel to achieve higher voltage or capacity, respectively. Always ensure all batteries are of the same type, capacity, and state of charge before connecting them.
- Parallel Connection: Connect positive terminals together and negative terminals together to increase total capacity (Ah) while maintaining 12V. Maximum recommended parallel capacity is 200Ah.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Charging the Battery
Always use a charger specifically designed for LiFePO4 batteries. The built-in BMS will protect against overcharge, but using an incompatible charger can damage the battery or reduce its lifespan.
- Charging Temperature: The battery must be charged in an environment where the temperature is above 0℃ (32℉). The BMS will prevent charging if the temperature is too low.
- Charging Voltage: Refer to your charger's instructions for the correct voltage settings for a 12.8V LiFePO4 battery.
6.2 Discharging the Battery
The battery is designed for efficient discharge and is protected by the BMS.
