  1. Identify Ports: Refer to Figure 2 to identify the Type-C Input Port, Type-C Output Outlet, 8A High Current USB Input Port, USB Outlet, Mode Key, and On-Off Key.
  2. Connect Input: Plug the input side of the tester (either the Type-C Input Port or the 8A High Current USB Input Port) into your power source (e.g., wall charger, power bank, computer USB port).
  3. Connect Output: Plug your device (e.g., mobile phone, tablet, USB fan, Type-C load) into the corresponding output port of the tester (either the Type-C Output Outlet or the USB Outlet).
  4. Power On: The tester should automatically power on and display readings once connected to a power source and a load.

Note: The Type-C connector input serves as the input, and the Type-C output serves as the output. Ensure you connect the power source to the input port and the device to be charged/tested to the output port. A Type-C connector without a load connected will not display readings.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and accuracy of your Gaqqee Dual USB Type-C Tester, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the display or casing.
  • Storage: Store the tester in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Handle the device with care to prevent physical damage. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Moisture: Keep the tester away from water and high humidity to prevent internal damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Dual USB Type-C Tester, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Display/No Readings:
    • Ensure the tester is properly connected to both a power source (input) and a device (output).
    • Verify that the power source is active and providing power.
    • Check if the connected device is drawing power (i.e., not fully charged or in a low-power state).
    • Remember that a Type-C connector without a load will not display readings.
  • Incorrect Voltage/Current Readings:
    • Ensure all connections are secure and free from debris.
    • Test with different cables and devices to rule out external factors.
    • If readings are consistently inaccurate after prolonged use, the device may require recalibration or service.
  • Button Not Responding:
    • Ensure the button is not stuck or obstructed.
    • Try pressing firmly and deliberately.

7. User Tips

Here are some helpful tips from other users to enhance your experience with the tester:

  • Understand Input/Output: Always connect the power source to the designated input port (U-INPUT or C-INPUT) and the device you wish to test/charge to the output port (U-OUTPUT or C-OUTPUT). Connecting a power source to an output port will not work and may damage the device.
  • No Load Display: If you connect the Type-C input but no device is connected to the Type-C output, the display may remain blank. This is normal behavior.
  • Capacity Testing: When testing power bank or battery capacity, remember that the recorded data provides a relative value. For precise, absolute capacity measurements, specialized equipment is typically required.
  • Monitoring Fast Charging: Utilize the fast charging protocol detection feature to verify if your charger and cable are delivering the expected fast charge to your device.

8. Warranty and Support
