1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The GX-IR-Score04 remote control requires batteries for operation. Please note that batteries are not included due to transportation policies and must be purchased separately.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Operating Instructions

The GX-IR-Score04 remote control is designed for intuitive operation of compatible LED scoreboards and countdown clocks. Ensure the remote is pointed directly at the scoreboard's infrared receiver for best performance.

  • Power Button (Red Circle): Turns the scoreboard/timer ON or OFF.
  • EDIT Button (Green): Enters or exits edit mode for settings.
  • CLOCK, UP, DOWN, SCORE Buttons (Orange): Used for navigating menus, adjusting values (up/down), and switching between clock and score modes.
  • HOME / GUEST Buttons: Adjusts scores for the home and guest teams.
  • Period Button: Changes the current period/inning.
  • Win+1 Buttons: Increments the win count for respective teams.

  • Start/Stop (ENTER) Button: Starts or stops the timer/clock, or confirms selections in edit mode.
  • H-Reset / Exchange / G-Reset: Specific reset functions for Home, Exchange (possibly for serve/possession), and Guest.
  • Number Buttons (0-9): For direct input of scores or time values.
  • +2 BALL, +3 STRIKE, OUT, *, # Buttons: Specific functions likely for baseball/softball scorekeeping (e.g., adding balls, strikes, outs).

3.2 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Press the red Power button.
  2. Adjusting Scores: Use the HOME and GUEST buttons to increment scores. For specific sports, use +2 BALL, +3 STRIKE, OUT buttons.
  3. Managing Time: Use the CLOCK button to switch to time mode. Use UP/DOWN to adjust time, and Start/Stop to begin/pause.
  4. Resetting: Use Score Reset or Match Reset as needed.
  5. Editing Settings: Press the EDIT button to enter settings mode, use UP/DOWN to navigate, and Start/Stop (ENTER) to confirm.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface or internal components.

4.2 Battery Care

If the remote controller will not be used for an extended period, please remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.
