6. Setup and Installation

6.1 Wiring Diagram

Proper wiring is crucial for the functionality and safety of your car MP3 player. Refer to the diagram below for correct connections.

  • Power Connections:
    • Connect the RED and YELLOW wires to the positive (+) pole of your car's power supply.
    • Connect the BLACK wire to the negative (-) pole (ground).
    • The BLUE wire is for the automatic antenna.
    • The ACC wire connects to the car's ignition switch.
  • Speaker Connections: Ensure correct polarity for all speaker connections (positive to positive, negative to negative).
  • Fuse Protection: A fuse is included in the wiring. Reverse connection of positive/negative poles may damage the fuse. If this occurs, replace it with a new fuse of the same rating and reconnect the wires.

6.2 Physical Installation

The unit is a standard 1 DIN size. Use the provided installation fix metal brackets to secure the player into your car's dashboard slot.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Power On/Off

  • To Turn On: Short press the power button.
  • To Turn Off: Short press the power button again.
  • Note: When first powered on, you might hear FM noise if there's no signal. This is normal. The next time it's turned on, it will resume playing the last FM station.

7.2 Clock Setting

  1. Long press the "CLK" button. The "minute" display will flash.
  2. Rotate the volume control knob to adjust the minutes.
  3. Short press "CLK" or the volume control knob. The "hour" display will flash.
  4. Rotate the volume control knob to adjust the hours.
  5. Long press "CLK" again or wait for 3 seconds to save the time.

Note: The clock may remain displayed when the radio is off in some cars. This depends on the vehicle's pre-installation wiring (whether the radio is connected to constant battery power or ignition-switched power), and is not an issue with the device itself.

7.3 FM Radio Operation

  • Auto-Scan and Store (AMS): Short press the "AMS" button. The radio will scan from FM 87.5 to 108MHz and automatically store up to 18 radio stations across FM1, FM2, and FM3 bands (e.g., F1P1 ~ F1P6). It will then play through the found stations in order before returning to the first station.
  • Semi-Automatic Search: Short press the ">>" or "<<" buttons to manually search for stations. When you find a desired station, press the opposite button to stop the search.
  • Saving a Station: Once you've found a desired station, long press one of the 1-6 memory station buttons for 5 seconds to save it.

7.4 Bluetooth Connection

  • Activate Bluetooth Mode: Short press the "BODE" button until "BT" is displayed on the LCD screen.
  • Pairing: On your mobile phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select "CAR-BT". The default pairing password is "0000". Some phones may connect automatically without needing to enter a password.
  • Connection Confirmation: Once successfully paired, the LCD screen will display "BT ON".
  • Bluetooth Calls:
    • To answer an incoming call: Short press the call button.
    • To end a call: Short press the call button.

7.5 Media Playback (USB, TF Card, AUX)

  • USB/AUX Playback: Insert a USB disk into the USB port or connect a portable player via a 3.5mm AUX cable to the front AUX input. The audio will play through the car speakers.
  • TF Card Playback: Gently push an SD/MMC (TF) card into the card slot. Select "SD" using the mode selector. Music will begin playing automatically.
  • MP3 Playback Controls:
    • Pause/Resume: Press the play/pause button during playback to pause, press again to resume.
    • INT (Introduction): Press this button to play the first few seconds of each track. Press again to stop the introduction and listen to the full track.
    • RPT (Repeat): Press this button to repeat the currently selected track continuously. Press again to cancel repeat mode.
    • RDM (Random): Press this button to play tracks in random order. Press again to cancel random mode.
    • -10/+10 Tracks: Short press the corresponding button to skip -10 or +10 tracks.
    • Folder Selection: Long press the -10 or +10 buttons to choose a folder.

7.6 Sound Settings

  • The unit features electronic type bass/treble, left and right balance, and front and back balance volume control. Use the rotary volume control and menu options to adjust these settings to your preference.

7.7 App Control

This unit supports APP control for various functions, including FM radio tuning, changing button colors, and adjusting sound effects/position.

  • Connecting via APP: Connect your smartphone to the car radio via Bluetooth. Once connected, open the dedicated APP (if available, usually found by scanning a QR code in the full manual or product packaging) to access advanced controls.
