3. Installation

Professional installation is highly recommended to avoid damage to the device or your vehicle. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before starting installation.

3.1. Back of the Host Device & Wiring

Familiarize yourself with the connections on the back of the head unit:

  • Power Connector: Connects to the vehicle's power harness.
  • Audio and Video Multifunctional Plug: For various audio/video inputs and outputs (e.g., RCA cables).
  • USB1 & USB2: For connecting USB devices, DVR, or other accessories.
  • Camera Input: For connecting a rear view camera.
  • GPS: Connects to the GPS antenna.
  • Radio: Connects to the vehicle's radio antenna.
  • CANbus Port: If your car requires a CANbus, connect the appropriate cable here.

3.2. CAN Bus Settings

If your vehicle uses a CAN Bus system, follow these steps to configure it:

  1. Connect automotive cables and CAN Bus cables.
  2. Enter factory settings. The password is typically 8888 or 123456.
  3. Select 'CAN BUS setting'.
  4. Select 'CAN BUS type'.
  5. Select your car model.
  6. Select the year of your car.

3.3. DVR Installation (Optional)

If you have an optional DVR, install the software as follows:

  1. Connect the DVR via a USB cable to the head unit.
  2. Open the 'FileManager' application on the head unit.
  3. Locate and install the DVR software (e.g., 'uCarDvr.apk').
  4. Confirm successful installation.

3.4. Rear View Camera Installation (Optional)

For the optional rear view camera, connect it as shown in the diagram. The system will automatically switch to the reverse screen with parking lines when reversing the car.

4.2. GPS Navigation
