4. Installation Guide
Follow these steps for proper installation of your EKIY MTC15 device:
- Mounting the Display: Attach the mounting bracket to your motorcycle's handlebars or a suitable surface. The rotatable bracket allows for flexible positioning. Secure the MTC15 display to the bracket. The design allows for easy disassembly when needed.
- Power Connection:
- Connect the Red Power wire from the MTC15 to the motorcycle battery's positive terminal (+).
- Connect the Green Ground wire from the MTC15 to the motorcycle battery's negative terminal (-).
- For DVR variants, connect the ACC power supply and negative terminal for the cameras as per the diagram.
- Camera Connection (for DVR variants): Connect the front and rear AHD cameras to their respective ports on the CarPlay screen. Ensure connections are secure and waterproof.


5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button (if present, or ensure motorcycle ignition is on) to power on the device. To power off, press and hold the power button until the device shuts down.
5.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- On the MTC15, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto icon and select it.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth.
- Once paired, CarPlay or Android Auto will launch automatically, mirroring your phone's compatible apps to the MTC15 display.

5.3 Wireless Airplay & Autolink (Mirror Link)
This feature allows you to mirror your smartphone's screen directly onto the MTC15 display.
- Select the 'Airplay' (for iPhone) or 'Autolink' (for Android) option on the MTC15 screen.
- Follow the specific instructions displayed on the MTC15 and your phone to establish the screen mirroring connection.

5.4 Dual Bluetooth Connectivity
The MTC15 features dual Bluetooth channels, allowing you to connect your smartphone for CarPlay/Android Auto and simultaneously connect a Bluetooth helmet or headset for audio output.
- Pair your smartphone as described in section 5.2.
- Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on the MTC15.
- Search for and pair your Bluetooth helmet or headset.

5.5 DVR Operation (if applicable)
For MTC15 variants with DVR functionality:
- Ensure the front and rear cameras are correctly installed and connected.
- Insert a TF card (up to 64GB, not included) into the designated slot.
- The device will automatically begin recording when powered on.
- Access recorded footage through the DVR menu on the MTC15 screen.
