Customization

Gasket Structure & Sound Dampening

The keyboard features an innovative dual Gasket silicone structure, providing soft elasticity, consistent sound, and a good tactile feel. It comes standard with a silicone sleeve Gasket structure, and complimentary silicone particles are included for conversion to a silicone particle Gasket structure, allowing you to fine-tune the typing feel and sound.

The keyboard also incorporates a five-layer sound dampening system (four layers for the non-RGB version) to effectively fill internal space and enhance typing acoustics. These layers include PORON sandwich cotton, PET acoustic pad (not in non-RGB version), switch pad, PORON switch seat cotton, and PET film.

Switches & Positioning Plates

The WAVE75 offers a choice between different switch types and positioning plate materials (FR4 and PP) to further customize your typing experience. Each material provides distinct tactile and auditory feedback.

  • FR4 Material: Offers good toughness and a more concentrated sound, meeting the standards of high-end custom kits.
  • PP Material: Benefits from modified PP material, providing a concentrated and clean sound when paired with bottoming switches.

Maintenance

Disassembly for Customization/Cleaning

The WAVE75 features an electroplated zinc alloy quick-release structure, allowing for easy disassembly of the top cover. This design uses four groups of bead-touching mechanisms for quick removal. The disassembly force can be freely adjusted. The magnetic touch needle also facilitates two-piece quick disassembly.

Note: The upper cover can theoretically be disassembled in about 5 seconds, but actual disassembly time may vary based on personal operation. When removing the top cover, ensure consistent force and angle to avoid scratching keycaps.

Keycap and Switch Removal

Use the provided two-way keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. For switches, use a switch puller (not explicitly listed as included, but implied for hot-swap functionality) to remove them. The custom hardware plastic integrated switch sockets are designed for durability and a long lifespan, ensuring switches do not fall off during forceful insertion or removal.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is properly connected (wired, 2.4G receiver, or Bluetooth paired) and the power switch is on. Check battery level.
  • Connectivity issues: For 2.4G, ensure the receiver is securely plugged in. For Bluetooth, try re-pairing the device. For wired, try a different USB port or cable.
  • Keys not working: If individual keys are not working, check if the switch is properly seated. For hot-swappable switches, try replacing the faulty switch with one of the spares.
  • Lighting issues: Ensure ARGB is enabled. If using QMK/VIA, verify lighting settings in the software.
  • Disassembly difficulty: If the top cover is hard to remove, ensure the quick-release mechanisms are fully disengaged. Apply even pressure.
