Note: This gateway primarily supports Tuya system ZigBee devices. It does not support non-Tuya ZigBee devices. After connecting to the Tuya APP, it can interact with Tuya Wi-Fi smart devices.
Setup Guide
Follow these simple steps to set up your Tuya ZigBee 3.0 Wired Multimode Gateway:

- Connect to Power and Network: Connect the gateway to a power source using the provided USB Type-C cable and power adapter. Connect the gateway to your router using the provided network cable via the RJ45 port.
- Initiate Pairing Mode: Long press the reset button on the gateway for 8 seconds. The indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Add Device in Tuya APP:
- Download and open the Tuya Smart APP on your mobile phone.
- On the APP homepage, tap the '+' icon in the upper right corner.
- Select 'Add Device' and the APP will automatically search for nearby devices.
- Once the gateway is detected, follow the on-screen prompts to add it to your account.
- Add Sub-Devices: After successfully adding the gateway, enter its interface within the Tuya APP. From there, you can add and configure your ZigBee and Bluetooth Mesh sub-devices.
Important Notes:
- The Tuya Smart APP requires Bluetooth and location services to be enabled on your mobile phone when adding devices.
- The gateway requires a 2.4G Wi-Fi network connection. It does not support 5G Wi-Fi or mixed networks.

Device Management and Control
The gateway acts as the 'central brain' of your smart home, allowing you to manage and control all connected ZigBee and Bluetooth Mesh devices via the Tuya Smart APP.

Offline Local Scene Linkage
The gateway stores data locally, allowing scenes created between sub-devices to continue running automatically even if your Wi-Fi network is disconnected. This ensures critical automations, such as security or environmental controls, remain functional.

Maintenance
General Care
- Keep the gateway in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating. The gateway features large area heat dissipation holes for this purpose.

Resetting the Gateway
If you encounter persistent issues or need to reconfigure your gateway, you can perform a factory reset:
- Locate the reset button on the device.
- With the gateway powered on, press and hold the reset button for approximately 8 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
- Release the button. The gateway will reset to its factory default settings and enter pairing mode. You will need to re-add it to the Tuya APP and reconfigure all connected sub-devices.
Troubleshooting
- Gateway not connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. The gateway does not support 5GHz networks.
- Verify the network cable is securely connected to both the gateway and your router.
- Check if your router's DHCP server is enabled and assigning IP addresses.
- Try restarting your router and the gateway.
- Sub-devices not pairing:
- Make sure the sub-device is in pairing mode (refer to the sub-device's manual).
- Ensure the sub-device is within the gateway's coverage area (100-300m²).
- Confirm that Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your phone during the pairing process in the Tuya APP.
- Reset the sub-device and try pairing again.
- Offline scenes not working:
- Verify that the scenes were configured for local execution within the Tuya APP.
- Ensure the gateway has stable power.
- Check if the sub-devices involved in the scene are still connected to the gateway.
- Slow response or unstable connection:
- Relocate the gateway to a more central position to improve signal coverage.
- Ensure there are no major obstructions (thick walls, large metal objects) between the gateway and sub-devices.
- Minimize interference from other 2.4GHz devices.
