Setup Guide

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Aigo EROS Q. Connect the player to a power source using a USB Type-C cable. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. Inserting a TF Card

Locate the TF card slot on the side of the player. Gently insert a compatible TF card (up to 512GB) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.

3. Connecting Headphones

Plug your 3.5mm headphones into the standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the player.

4. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button until the screen lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the power-off prompt appears, then confirm.

5. Transferring Music Files

You can transfer music files to your TF card using one of the following methods:

  • Directly to TF Card: Remove the TF card from the player and insert it into a card reader connected to your computer. Copy your music files to the card.
  • Via USB Connection: Connect the player to your computer using the USB Type-C cable. The player may appear as a removable disk, allowing you to drag and drop files directly to the inserted TF card.
  • OTG Function: The player supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality, allowing you to connect a USB flash drive via an OTG adapter (not included) to transfer files directly to the TF card in the player.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Navigation

The player features a central scroll wheel and dedicated buttons for navigation and control:

  • Scroll Wheel: Rotate to browse menus, lists, and adjust volume. Press to select an item.
  • M Button: Menu/Back button.
  • Play/Pause Button: Play or pause current track.
  • Next/Previous Track Buttons: Skip to the next or previous track.
  • Return Button: Go back to the previous screen or menu.

2. Music Playback

Navigate to the 'Music' or 'Files' section, select your desired audio file, and press the Play/Pause button to begin playback. The player supports various audio formats including DSD, FLAC, WAV, MP3, and more.

3. Bluetooth Connectivity

Connect the EROS Q to your computer via USB. In the player's menu, select 'USB DAC Mode'. Your computer should recognize the player as an external audio device, allowing you to use its high-quality DAC for computer audio playback.

5. Line Out Function

The 3.5mm Line Out port provides an analog audio output that can be connected to an external amplifier, active speakers, or other audio equipment, bypassing the player's internal headphone amplifier.

6. Equalizer (EQ)

Access the EQ settings from the main menu to customize the sound profile. The player offers a 10-band custom adjustment to tailor the audio output to your preferences.

Troubleshooting

No Power / Device Not Turning On

  • Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • If the battery is completely drained, it may take a few minutes for the charging indicator to appear.

No Sound Output

  • Check if your headphones are properly connected to the 3.5mm jack.
  • Verify the volume level is not set to zero or muted.
  • Ensure the audio file format is supported by the player.
  • If using Bluetooth, ensure the headphones/speakers are paired correctly and within range.

Bluetooth Connection Issues

  • Ensure both the player and the Bluetooth device are in pairing mode and within close proximity.

Files Not Playing

No FM Radio Functionality

  • The Aigo EROS Q player does not include an FM radio function.
