2. Setup Guide
2.1 Package Contents
Before you begin, please ensure all items are present in your package:
- 1x UMIDIGI G9A Phone
- 1x Protective Film (pre-applied)
- 1x Phone Case
- 1x Type-C Cable
- 1x Power Adapter
- 1x SIM Tray Ejector
- 1x Quick Start Guide
2.2 Inserting SIM and TF Cards
- Locate the SIM tray on the side of your UMIDIGI G9A.
- Insert the SIM Tray Ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press gently until the tray pops out.
- Carefully pull out the SIM tray.
- Place your Nano SIM card(s) and/or TF card (for expandable storage up to 1TB) into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down and the cards are correctly oriented. The phone supports Dual Nano SIM or one Nano SIM + one TF Card.
- Gently push the tray back into the phone until it clicks into place.
2.3 Initial Power On and Charging
- Press and hold the Power button (usually on the right side) until the UMIDIGI logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account setup.
- To charge your device, connect the Type-C cable to the phone's charging port and the power adapter to a wall outlet. The phone supports 10W standard charging and up to 18W fast charging.

3.1 Android 14 (Go Edition)
The UMIDIGI G9A runs on Android 14 (Go Edition), offering a smooth and user-friendly experience. Navigate through the interface using gestures or on-screen buttons. Access apps from the home screen or app drawer.

The 6.75-inch HD+ Water Drop Screen provides an expansive viewing experience. It is designed to effectively filter out harmful blue light, helping to relieve visual fatigue during prolonged use.

3.5 Multifunctional FM Radio
The UMIDIGI G9A supports FM Radio functionality. To use it, plug in headphones, which act as an antenna, then turn on the FM Radio app and listen directly. You can also record radio content.
