1. Product Overview
The Sami LD-1115 is a versatile indoor and outdoor weather station designed to provide essential environmental data at a glance. It features a clear display for indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, weather forecasts, and comfort levels. The station also includes a calendar, 12/24-hour clock, touch controls, and an LED backlight for easy readability.

2. Package Contents
- Sami LD-1115 Main Weather Station Unit
- Wireless Outdoor Sensor
- User Manual (this document)
Note: Batteries are NOT included. Please prepare 3 AAA batteries for the main unit and 2 AAA batteries for the outdoor sensor.
3. Setup Guide
3.1 Battery Installation
- Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main weather station unit. Insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
- Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the wireless outdoor sensor. Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
3.2 Sensor Placement
- Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location to ensure accurate temperature and humidity readings. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, or extreme weather conditions.
- Ensure the sensor is within the wireless range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters, depending on obstacles).
- Mount the sensor vertically to allow for proper drainage if it gets wet.
3.3 Initial Synchronization
After installing batteries in both units, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main unit's display. If the outdoor readings do not appear, try repositioning the sensor or pressing the 'SYNC' button (if available) on the main unit or sensor.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Display Overview
The main display shows the following information:
- Time: Current time in 12 or 24-hour format.
- Calendar: Date and day of the week.
- Weather Forecast: Icons representing predicted weather conditions (e.g., sunny, cloudy, rainy).
- Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Current readings inside your home.
- Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Current readings from the wireless sensor.
- Comfort Levels: Icons indicating indoor comfort based on temperature and humidity.
4.2 Setting Time and Date
Use the touch controls on the main unit to access settings. Typically, a 'MODE' or 'SET' button allows you to cycle through settings (time, date, 12/24h format). Use '+' and '-' buttons (or similar touch areas) to adjust values. Confirm settings by pressing 'MODE'/'SET' again or waiting for the display to time out.
4.3 Weather Forecast
The weather station predicts weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours based on atmospheric pressure changes. The icons are illustrative and may not always perfectly match local weather conditions.
4.4 LED Backlight
The LED backlight can be activated by touching a designated area or button, providing temporary illumination for viewing the display in low-light conditions.
5. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new ones.
- Cleaning: Clean the weather station and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Sensor Care: Periodically check the outdoor sensor for debris or obstructions. Ensure its placement continues to be optimal for accurate readings.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Outdoor Reading:
- Check if the outdoor sensor batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is within range of the main unit and there are no major obstructions (thick walls, large metal objects).
- Try bringing the sensor closer to the main unit to re-establish connection.
- Perform a reset by removing batteries from both units for a few minutes, then reinserting them, starting with the outdoor sensor.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is not in direct sunlight or exposed to heat sources, which can artificially inflate temperature readings.
- Verify the main unit is not near heat-emitting appliances or in direct sunlight indoors.
- Display Issues:
- If the display is dim or flickering, replace the main unit batteries.
- If segments are missing, try a full reset by removing and reinserting batteries.
