- CarPlay/Android Auto Connection Issues: Make sure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled. For Android Auto, you might need to tap the screen to confirm the connection after initial Bluetooth pairing. Ensure the device's 'Device MIC' setting is OFF if using a Bluetooth helmet.
- 4K Camera Quality Concerns: The front camera records in 4K, and the rear in 1080P. Ensure you are viewing the correct camera feed and that the recording settings are configured for maximum resolution.
- Cannot Download APKs: This monitor runs on a Linux system and does not support direct APK downloads. It is not an Android-based system.
- Date/Time Incorrect After Reset: The device does not have a built-in power module to retain time settings when power is off. Once CarPlay is automatically connected to an iPhone, it will synchronize the time.
8. User Tips
- For seamless audio experience with a Bluetooth helmet, remember to turn off the 'Device MIC' setting in the system settings.
- Always ensure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are active for quick and automatic CarPlay/Android Auto connections.
- Utilize the 'Rain Mode' feature during wet weather to prevent accidental screen touches and maintain control.
- Regularly check your TF card for available space, although loop recording manages it automatically, occasional manual checks can prevent issues.
