Using the Top Shelf
- The top shelf provides extra space for displaying decorative items, storing small boxes, or placing frequently used items like keys, wallets, or mail.
- Do not exceed the maximum static load capacity of 20 kg (44 lbs) for the top shelf.
Using the Hanging Rail
- The integrated clothes rail is ideal for hanging garments on hangers, such as jackets, shirts, or scarves.
- Ensure the total weight on the hanging rail does not exceed 15 kg (33 lbs).
Using the Movable Hooks
- The coat rack features 10 removable hooks. These hooks can be slid along the back panels, allowing you to adjust their spacing to accommodate different items like bags, coats, hats, or umbrellas.
- Each individual hook has a maximum static load capacity of 5 kg (11 lbs).
- Distribute weight evenly across the hooks and avoid overloading any single hook.
General Usage Tips:
- Distribute the weight of items evenly across the shelf, rail, and hooks to maintain stability and prevent damage.
- Avoid hanging wet clothes directly on the rack for extended periods, as this may affect the material over time.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your VASAGLE Wall-Mounted Coat Rack, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the shelf and metal components with a dry, soft cloth.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
- Avoid Moisture: While suitable for bathrooms, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture. Ensure good ventilation to prevent water damage to the particleboard.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your coat rack, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Rack feels wobbly or unstable:
- Check all assembly screws and wall mounting screws. Tighten any loose fasteners.
- Ensure the rack is mounted on a solid wall and appropriate anchors were used.
- Verify that the total weight on the rack does not exceed the maximum static load capacity.
- Hooks are difficult to move or slide:
- Ensure the hooks are properly seated on the back panels.
- Clean the grooves of the back panels and the hook mechanisms to remove any dust or debris.
- Damage to wall after mounting:
- This can occur if the rack was overloaded or not properly secured to a solid wall. Review the "Safety Information" and "Setup" sections.
