Operating Instructions
DPI Adjustment
The R6 mouse features a PixArt PAW3950MAX sensor with a native DPI range of 50-30000, overclockable up to 42000 DPI. DPI settings can typically be adjusted via a dedicated button on the mouse or through companion software (if available) to suit your preference and game requirements.
Polling Rate
The mouse supports a polling rate of up to 8000Hz, providing ultra-low latency and precise tracking. This can often be configured through software. For competitive gaming, a higher polling rate like 8000Hz is recommended when using the 2.4Ghz wireless connection with the 8K Mini Receiver.

Optical Mouse Switches
The R6 mouse is equipped with Omron Optical Microswitches, designed for rapid tapping with a 0.2mm trigger distance and a lifespan of 100 million clicks. These switches are highly durable and help prevent common issues like double-clicking.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain the performance and appearance of your R6 mouse, regularly clean it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the mouse's internal components. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Grip Tape
The included grip tape can be applied to the mouse for enhanced control and comfort. If the grip tape wears out or loses its adhesive, it can be carefully removed and replaced with new tape.
Troubleshooting
Connectivity Issues
- 2.4Ghz Wireless: Ensure the 8K Mini Receiver is securely plugged into a USB port. Check that the mouse is switched to 2.4Ghz mode. Try a different USB port or restart your computer.
- Bluetooth: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Remove the mouse from your device's paired list and attempt to re-pair.
- Wired: Ensure the USB-C cable is firmly connected to both the mouse and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable if available.
Mouse Not Responding
- Check the battery level. Connect the mouse via USB-C cable to charge if needed.
- Ensure the mouse is turned on.
- Try switching between connectivity modes (2.4Ghz, Bluetooth, Wired) to see if one works.
Inconsistent Tracking or DPI
- Clean the mouse sensor with a soft cloth to remove any dust or debris.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (preferably a mouse pad).
- Adjust DPI settings using the mouse button or software.
- Check polling rate settings in the mouse software.
