3.1. Compatibility Check
This dash cam is compatible with:

To ensure correct fitment, please provide your vehicle model and year, and a picture of your original car rear view mirror cover before ordering. The dash cam is designed to look like an original factory style, requiring no visible wiring.

3.2. Installation Procedure
Please ensure the engine is stalled before beginning installation.

Alternatively, follow these steps:
- Remove Rear Cover: Pry the small back cover of the original car's rearview mirror housing with a crowbar.
- Remove Original Shell: Hold the original car shell with both hands and push forward to remove it.
- Unplug ACC Sensor: Unplug the plug of the ACC sensor.
- Connect Power Cord: Connect the power cord of the dash camera in series with the ACC sensor plug.
- Transfer Buckles: Transfer the 2 buckles from the original car shell to the dash camera.
- Install Dash Cam: Install the dash camera and organize the wiring harness.
- Replace Rear Cover: Put the small rear cover back behind the dash camera.

3.3. App Download and Wi-Fi Connection
After installation, when you start the engine, the indicator light of the dash camera will flash.
- Download App: Scan the appropriate QR code below to download the "Luckycam" app for your device (iOS or Android).
- Connect Wi-Fi: Open the settings on your phone, search for the dash cam's Wi-Fi network, and connect.

Important Wi-Fi Notes:
- Apple iOS: If using CarPlay, it may interfere with the dash cam connection. Turn off Bluetooth first, then connect to the dash cam Wi-Fi. If live stream preview is not displayed, turn off cellular data before connecting to Wi-Fi. Ensure the app has network and album permissions.
- Android: After connecting to the dash cam Wi-Fi, your phone's internet may not be available. Click "Keep the WLAN connection". If the app displays a black screen or cannot connect, turn off mobile data and connect again.

9. User Tips
- Recording Time Setting: It is recommended to set the recording time to 1 minute for easier video downloading and management.
- Resolution Setting: For optimal quality, it is recommended to set the recording resolution to 1440P/2K or higher if available.
- CarPlay/Bluetooth Interference: If you experience issues connecting the dash cam to your phone via Wi-Fi while using CarPlay or Bluetooth, temporarily disable these features on your phone before connecting to the dash cam's Wi-Fi.
- Downloading Videos: You can only download recorded videos when you are in the car and the engine is on.
- Sound Recording: The app provides various functions, including sound recording, which can be enabled or disabled via your phone settings within the app.
