5.2 Installation Precautions
- Stacking: Do not stack products. Maintain a distance of at least 20cm between units to ensure proper heat dissipation and extend product lifespan.
- Power Supply Proximity: Avoid installing the product close to switching power supplies. Maintain a minimum interval of 20cm to prevent radiation interference.
- Height: Install the product at a height of 1 meter or more from the floor to prevent shortening the remote control distance due to weak reception signals.
- Metal Objects: Do not install products close to or cover them with metal objects. Maintain a minimum interval of 20cm to avoid signal attenuation and ensure optimal remote distance.
- Corners: Avoid installation at wall corners or beam corners, maintaining a minimum interval of 20cm to prevent signal interference.
6. Operation
6.1 V1 Dimmer Push Switch Control
When an external non-latching (momentary) wall switch is connected to the V1 dimmer:
- Short Press: Turns the light ON or OFF.
- Long Press (1-6 seconds): Press and hold to achieve stepless dimming. With every subsequent long press, the light level will dim in the opposite direction (e.g., brighter to dimmer, then dimmer to brighter).
- Dimming Memory: The light will return to its previously set dimming level when switched off and on again, even after a power failure.
6.2 Adjusting Light On/Off Fade Time
- Set Fade Time to 3 seconds: Long press the V1 dimmer's MATCH key for 5 seconds, then short press the MATCH key 3 times. The LED indicator will blink 3 times to confirm the setting.
- Restore Default Fade Time (0.5 seconds): Long press the V1 dimmer's MATCH key for 10 seconds to restore factory default parameters. The light on/off fade time will revert to 0.5 seconds.

Image 9: RS1 Remote Control with brightness ring for 0-100% adjustment.

Image 10: RS1 Remote Control button functions.
- 'All' Button: Turns on/off all 4 zone lights simultaneously.
- Touch Brightness Wheel: Touch and slide your finger along the wheel to smoothly adjust the brightness from 0-100%.
- Numbered Buttons (1, 2, 3, 4): Press to turn on the specific zone light.
- 'O' Buttons (next to 1, 2, 3, 4): Press to turn off the specific zone light.
- S1, S2, S3 Buttons: These are 3 scene memory buttons. You can save and recall preferred brightness levels for different zones.
6.4 Remote Control Indicator Light Operation

Image 11: RS1 Remote Control battery and indicator light details.
- Turning Light On: The indicator displays blue.
- Turning Light Off: The indicator displays red.
- Touching Color Wheel: The indicator displays the same color as the selected light.
- Invalid Operation (Light Off): If the light is off and you press a button or touch the wheel, the indicator displays red.
- Sleep State: To extend battery life, the touch wheel will enter a sleep state after a few seconds of no operation. Press any key to wake it up.
6.5 Matching Methods (V1 Dimmer to RS1 Remote)
To link a V1 dimmer to an RS1 remote control, use one of the following methods:

Image 12: Matching Methods for V1 Dimmer and RS1 Remote.
Method 1: Using the V1's Match Key
- Ensure the V1 dimmer is powered on.
- Short press the V1 dimmer's 'MATCH' key.
- Immediately press the desired zone key (1, 2, 3, or 4) on the RS1 remote control.
- The LED indicator on the V1 dimmer will flash rapidly a few times, indicating successful matching.
Method 2: Using Power Restart
- Ensure the V1 dimmer is connected to the LED strip and power supply.
- Switch off the power to the V1 dimmer (e.g., by flipping the circuit breaker or unplugging the power supply).
- Switch the power back on.
- Immediately short press the desired zone key (1, 2, 3, or 4) on the RS1 remote control three times.
- The light connected to the V1 dimmer will blink three times, indicating successful matching.
7. Troubleshooting

Image 13: Malfunctions Analysis & Troubleshooting Guide.
| Malfunction | Possible Causes | Troubleshooting |
|---|---|---|
| No light | 1. No power. 2. Wrong connection or insecure wiring. | 1. Check the power supply. 2. Check all connections for security and correctness. |
| Uneven intensity between front and rear of LED strip, with voltage drop | 1. Output cable is too long. 2. Wire diameter is too small. 3. Overload beyond power supply capability. 4. Overload beyond controller capability. | 1. Reduce cable length or use loop supply. 2. Change to wider gauge wire. 3. Replace with a higher power supply. 4. Add a power repeater. |
| No response from the remote | 1. The battery has no power. 2. Beyond controllable distance. 3. The controller did not match the remote. | 1. Replace the battery (2x AAA). 2. Reduce the distance between the remote and the dimmer. 3. Rematch the remote to the dimmer (refer to Section 6.5). |
8. User Tips
- When setting up multiple zones, ensure each V1 dimmer is matched to its intended zone on the RS1 remote to avoid cross-interference.
- For optimal wireless performance, try to keep the RS1 remote within the specified 30m barrier-free range and avoid significant metal obstructions.
- If experiencing flickering at very low dimming levels, ensure your LED strip and power supply are compatible with the dimmer's specifications and consider a power repeater if the load is high.
