Maintenance

  • Avoid using high-pressure water guns to rinse or soak the product.
  • While the camera is waterproof, avoid contact with solvents like degreasing oil, alcohol, or tar cleaning agents to prevent damage to the waterproof layer.
  • If the device is exposed to rain for an extended period (more than 2 hours), air-dry it in a well-ventilated place for 5 hours before use to prevent internal short circuits.
  • If the screen has visible scratches, these are typically on the removable protective film. Remove this film before use. Removing it does not affect waterproofing.

Troubleshooting

1. The device cannot be turned on or keeps restarting.

  • Check that the wiring connections are correct and connected to the positive and negative terminals of the motorcycle's battery according to the instructions.
  • Measure the line voltage and check for power in the wiring line.
  • Use only the original ACC power cord included in the package (do not use third-party cords).
  • Ensure the power supply meets the specification: 12V (vehicle use) / 3A.
  • If the machine shuts down/restarts repeatedly (insufficient voltage), try starting without inserting the TF card (GPS or TF card may cause interference).
  • If using a cigarette lighter power cord, verify it complies with "12V 3A"—contact support for a replacement if not.

2. The front or rear camera does not display.

  • Check the camera. If the front camera does not display, try connecting the rear lens. If the rear lens displays an image, the front lens may be damaged. Contact support for a new camera.
  • If both front and rear cameras are not displayed, ensure camera cables and DVR connection cables are properly connected.

3. The video is not clear or there is flare in the captured image.

  • Check the lens for dust and dirt and wipe it clean.

4. Bluetooth cannot be connected.

  • Check whether the Bluetooth password is correct when matching the host and cell phone.
  • Restart the machine's Bluetooth and your cell phone's Bluetooth, then click the connect button.

5. Bluetooth headset cannot be connected.

  • After connecting to Android Auto or CarPlay, disconnect Bluetooth from the machine and connect the Bluetooth headset to your cell phone.
  • Use your cell phone alone to connect with the helmet Bluetooth headset. If you can't connect, the helmet Bluetooth headset may be malfunctioning; consider replacing it.

6. The machine prompts that it cannot record video or playback video in TF.

  • Check if the TF-SD card is damaged. If so, replace it. Ensure you are using a Class 10 or higher SD card.

7. If the screen display or recorded video is subject to electromagnetic interference from streaks.

  • Check the wiring and binding of the camera for problems.
  • Wiring and bundling should be smooth, without folding wires, and with some margin. Bundling should not be too tight or vehicle housing should not be squeezed too.

8. CarPlay/Android Auto lagging or connection failures.

  • A stable phone Bluetooth signal is required for connection. Lagging is normal if the Bluetooth signal is weak—ensure good signal strength.
  • For CarPlay: Compatible with iPhone 6 and above (supports wireless CarPlay). Do not connect the phone to iWatch/Android smartwatches (third-party Bluetooth devices interfere). Do not use the phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot while CarPlay is active.
  • For Android Auto: Android phones need 5G/WiFi to support Android Auto. Clear Google Play Services storage/cache in phone settings, then reconnect. Do not connect to smartwatches or use the phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot during use. Remove Bluetooth helmets from the phone’s Bluetooth list (may disrupt wireless Android Auto). Huawei (EMUI) users: Enable "Always Open Phone Data" in developer options for wireless Android Auto (otherwise, only wired connection works).

9. Abnormal screen touch.

  • Calibrate the screen by pressing and holding it with five fingers simultaneously.

User Tips

  • SD Card Slots: The device has two card slots: a DVR slot for recording videos and a CARD slot for multimedia playback. Insert your SD card into the appropriate slot for the desired function.
  • DVR Slot Cover: The DVR slot cover is screw-fixed for waterproofing. Always unscrew the cover before inserting or removing a card. Do not force it open to avoid damage.
  • Protective Film: Any visible scratches on the screen are typically on the removable protective film, which is applied for shipping protection. Remove this film before use.
  • Screen Brightness: The device features an Anti-Glare HD Vehicle Screen with 800 nits peak brightness for visibility in various light conditions.
  • Glove Operation: While not explicitly stated, touchscreens can sometimes be operated with specific types of gloves (e.g., capacitive touch gloves). If you experience issues, try different gloves or ensure direct finger contact.
  • Power Off: The device does not have a built-in battery and will power off when disconnected from the motorcycle's power. Time synchronization occurs via Bluetooth/CarPlay/Android Auto connection.
