4.5 Temperature Alarms and Spot Tracking
Utilize the high/low temperature alarm feature to be notified when temperatures exceed or fall below predefined thresholds. The center, hot, and cold spot tracking functions help you quickly identify critical temperature points within the thermal image.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the device, especially the lens and screen, with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the thermal imager in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the internal battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Unclear thermal image: Check if the lens is clean. Ensure the object is within the device's temperature range. While the device is focus-free, extreme close-ups or distances might affect clarity.
- WiFi connection issues: Double-check the WiFi name (SSID) and the IP address (192.168.230.1). Ensure no other devices are interfering with the connection.
- Inaccurate temperature readings: Verify the emissivity setting is appropriate for the material being measured. Refer to the specifications for the device's accuracy range.
