Setup Instructions
1. Physical Installation
Carefully screw the Tuya E14 WiFi Smart Light Bulb into any standard E14 socket. Ensure the power is off before installation to prevent electrical shock.
2. App Download and Registration
- Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
- Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Connecting the Smart Bulb to Wi-Fi (App Configuration)
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The bulb does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Turn the bulb on, then off, and repeat this cycle 4 to 6 times until the bulb begins to flash rapidly (approximately 5 times in 2 seconds). This indicates it's in pairing mode.
- Open the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app.
- Tap the '+' icon in the top right corner to add a device.
- Select 'Lighting' -> 'Light Source (Wi-Fi)' or a similar option.
- Confirm that the light is flashing rapidly in the app.
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Wait for the app to connect to the bulb. Once connected, you can rename the bulb and assign it to a room.

4. AP Mode Configuration (Alternative Connection)
If the standard connection fails, you can try AP Mode:
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to your home Wi-Fi (2.4GHz).
- Make sure AP mode configuration is initiated: power on the light and confirm that the light is flashing slowly. If the indicator light is not blinking, please turn off the light and switch for five times to enter the blinking state.

5. Connecting the 2.4G Remote Control (Optional)
- First, ensure your smart bulb is successfully connected to the Tuya app.
- Turn off the power to the bulb and then turn it back on.
- Press and hold the red dot button on the upper left corner of the remote control. The red dot will flash to indicate a successful connection. If there is a network delay, please be patient.
Note: The remote control requires 2 * AAA batteries (not included).
