5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tailcap of the flashlight.
2. Insert the provided 21700 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. The IF23 Pro features reverse polarity protection to prevent damage from incorrect battery installation.
3. Screw the tailcap back on tightly.

5.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. Connect the flashlight to a USB power adapter (not included) using the provided USB Type-C cable. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

6. Operating Instructions

The IF23 Pro features two independent switches: a magnetic rotary switch and a side e-switch. The rotary switch selects the light source mode (Main Light, Side White Light, Color Mode, Lockout), while the e-switch controls brightness levels and specific functions within each mode.

6.1 Rotary Switch Operation

Rotate the magnetic rotary switch to select one of the following modes:

• Lockout: Prevents accidental activation.
• Main Light: Activates the primary XHP70B LED.
• Color Mode: Activates the RGB side LEDs.
• Side White Light: Activates the white COB side LEDs.

6.2 E-Switch Operation (within selected mode)

The e-switch controls brightness and special functions. The behavior of the e-switch depends on the mode selected by the rotary switch.

Main Light Mode:

• Single Click: Turn ON/OFF.
• Press and Hold (from OFF): Activates Eco Mode.
• Press and Hold (from ON): Ramping (stepless brightness adjustment). Release to set brightness.
• Double Click: Activates Turbo mode. Double click again for Strobe, then SOS, then Beacon. Single click to return to previous mode.

Side White Light Mode:

• Single Click: Turn ON/OFF.
• Press and Hold (from OFF): Activates Moonlight Mode.
• Press and Hold (from ON): Ramping (stepless brightness adjustment). Release to set brightness.
• Double Click: Activates High mode. Double click again for Turbo, then Strobe, then SOS, then Beacon. Single click to return to previous mode.
• Double Click and Hold (from ON): Stepless color temperature adjustment (2800K-6500K).

Color Mode:

• Single Click: Turn ON/OFF.
• Press and Hold (from ON): Stepless color adjustment.
• Double Click: Cycles through Flashing (color memory), Police Flash, Rainbow, RGB Waterfall, Droplets, Neon Fade. Single click to return to previous mode.

Lockout Mode:

• Single Click (from ON): Turns OFF.
• Single Click (from OFF): Activates Battery Indicator for 5 seconds.

7. Battery Level Indicator

After turning on the IF23 Pro, or clicking the e-switch when it is in lockout mode, the indicator will display the power status for 5 seconds:

• Green Constant On: 70%-100%
• Green Flashes: 40%-70%
• Red Constant On: 10%-40%
• Red Flashes: 0%-10%

Note: When the flashlight is on, the red indicator will keep flashing when the remaining battery is lower than 10%. The flashlight automatically turns off when the battery voltage is lower than 2.8V.

8. Charging and Power Bank Function

8.1 Charging the Flashlight

The IF23 Pro features a USB Type-C charging port for convenient charging. Connect the flashlight to a USB power adapter (not included) with 5V/3A (max) output using the provided USB-C cable.

• Red Indicator: Charging
• Green Indicator: Fully Charged

8.2 Power Bank Function

The IF23 Pro can also function as a power bank to charge other devices. Connect your device to the flashlight's USB Type-C port using a compatible cable.

• No Indicator: Sufficient battery level for discharging.
• Red Flashes: Low battery level, indicating the flashlight's battery is nearly depleted.

9. Maintenance

• Clean the flashlight body with a soft cloth.
• Lubricate threads regularly with silicone grease to prevent wear.
• Replace O-rings if they are damaged to maintain water resistance.
• Remove the battery if the flashlight is not used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
• Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place.

10. Troubleshooting

• Flashlight not turning on: Check if the battery is inserted correctly (positive end towards the head). Ensure the tailcap is tightened. Check battery level and charge if necessary.
• Light output is dim or flickering: Charge the battery. Clean battery contacts and threads.
• Flashlight gets hot quickly: This is normal for high output modes. Reduce brightness to lower temperature. Ensure proper ventilation.
• Water ingress: Ensure all seals (O-rings, USB-C port cover) are intact and properly seated. Do not use underwater if seals are compromised.

11. User Tips

• The magnetic tailcap is very useful for hands-free operation, especially during vehicle maintenance or as a work light.
• Experiment with the RGB color modes for creative lighting in photography or for signaling in emergencies.
• Utilize the power bank function to charge your phone or other small devices when away from a power source.
