1. Product Overview

The SERVO 16SE is a compact mini smartphone designed for portability and essential functions. It features a 3.0-inch HD display, runs on Android 9.0, and supports 3G connectivity with dual SIM card capabilities. Its small size makes it convenient for everyday use.

2. Package Contents

Upon unboxing your SERVO 16SE Mini Smartphone, please verify that all the following items are included:

3. Setup Guide

3.1. SIM Card and Memory Card Installation

  1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the phone.
  2. Insert the provided Card Removal Pin into the small hole next to the tray to eject it.
  3. Place your Nano SIM card(s) and/or TF memory card into the designated slots. The phone supports either two Nano SIM cards or one Nano SIM card and one TF memory card.
  4. Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone until it clicks into place.

3.2. Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your SERVO 16SE. Use the provided Type-C cable and a compatible power adapter.

  1. Connect one end of the Type-C cable to the charging port at the bottom of the phone.
  2. Connect the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator will appear on the screen. A full charge for the 1180mAh battery may take a few hours.

3.3. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually on the right side) until the SERVO logo appears.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select 'Power off' from the options on the screen.

3.4. Face Unlock Setup

The SERVO 16SE supports face recognition for unlocking the device.

  1. Go to 'Settings' > 'Security & location' > 'Face Unlock'.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your face. Ensure good lighting and hold the phone at eye level.
  3. You will also need to set up a backup password or pattern.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Navigation

The SERVO 16SE runs on Android 9.0. Navigate using touch gestures on the 3.0-inch HD screen.

  • Tap: Select an item or open an app.
  • Swipe: Scroll through screens or lists.
  • Pinch: Zoom in or out on photos and web pages.

4.2. Calls and Messaging

  • Making Calls: Open the 'Phone' app, dial the number, and tap the call icon.
  • Sending SMS: Open the 'Messages' app, tap 'Start chat', enter the recipient and message, then send.

4.3. Connectivity

  • Wi-Fi: Go to 'Settings' > 'Network & internet' > 'Wi-Fi'. Turn Wi-Fi on and select your network.
  • Bluetooth: Go to 'Settings' > 'Connected devices' > 'Bluetooth'. Turn Bluetooth on to pair with devices.
  • GPS: Location services can be enabled via 'Settings' > 'Location'.
  • Hotspot Sharing: Share your phone's 3G internet connection via 'Settings' > 'Network & internet' > 'Hotspot & tethering'.

4.4. Camera Operation

The SERVO 16SE is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 3MP front camera.

  1. Open the 'Camera' app.
  2. Tap the shutter button to take a photo.
  3. Switch between front and rear cameras using the camera switch icon.
  4. Access settings within the app for modes like portrait or to adjust other parameters.

4.5. App Management

The phone comes with a pure Android 9.0 system, supporting various mainstream applications. You can download additional apps from the Google Play Store.

4.6. Storage and Performance

The SERVO 16SE features 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, expandable up to 64GB with a TF card. The MT6737 quad-core processor ensures smooth operation for daily tasks and video playback.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Battery Care

  • Avoid extreme temperatures, which can degrade battery life.
  • Use only the provided Type-C cable for charging.
  • Do not fully discharge the battery frequently; partial charges are better for lithium-ion batteries.

5.2. Screen and Body Care

  • Use the included HD Protective Film and Phone Case to protect against scratches and minor impacts.
  • Clean the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Keep the phone away from water and excessive dust.

5.3. Software Updates

Periodically check for system updates to ensure optimal performance and security. Go to 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Advanced' > 'System update'.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Phone not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a charger for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Apps crashing or freezing: Try restarting the app. If the issue persists, clear the app's cache and data in 'Settings' > 'Apps & notifications' > [App Name] > 'Storage'.
  • Poor network signal: Check your SIM card installation. Ensure you are in an area with 3G coverage. Try restarting the phone.
  • Battery draining quickly: Reduce screen brightness, close unused apps, and limit background data usage.
  • Face Unlock not working: Ensure your face is well-lit and positioned correctly in front of the camera. Re-register your face if necessary.
