3. Package Contents
Your KETELES KF9 Pro package should include the following items:

4. Setup and Initial Assembly
4.1 Unfolding the Bike
- Carefully remove the bike from its packaging.
- Locate the main frame folding latch (Figure 2). Release the latch and unfold the frame until it locks securely into place.
- Unfold the handlebar stem. Secure the stem in the upright position using the quick-release lever and safety latch (Figure 3).
- Adjust the handlebar height and angle to your preference, then tighten all fasteners.
- Install the front wheel if it came detached.
- Attach the pedals. Note that pedals are usually marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right, and thread in opposite directions.
- Adjust the seat post height for comfortable riding. Ensure the seat post is inserted past the minimum insertion line.

4.2 Battery Installation and Initial Charge
- Insert the 48V 26Ah Lithium Battery into its compartment on the bike frame (Figure 4). Use the provided key to lock the battery in place.
- Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the charging port on the battery and then to a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 7-9 hours.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the e-bike, turn the key in the battery lock to the 'ON' position and then press and hold the power button on the LCD display. To power off, press and hold the power button again.
5.2 Smart LCD Display
The Smart LCD Display (Figure 6) provides crucial information during your ride:
- Battery Level: Indicates remaining battery charge.
- Walk Boost: Provides low-speed assistance for walking the bike.
- MPH: Displays current speed in miles per hour.
- Trip Odometer: Tracks distance for the current trip.
- PAS (Pedal Assist System): Shows the current level of pedal assistance.
- Cruise: Activates cruise control for maintaining a constant speed.

5.3 Riding Modes and Gears
Your KF9 Pro features dual 1000W motors and a 7-speed gear system (Figure 7) for versatile riding:
- Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust the PAS level on the display to control the amount of assistance.
- Electric Mode (Throttle Only): Use the throttle to propel the bike without pedaling.
- Manual Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without motor assistance.
- 7-Speed Gear System: Use the shifter on the handlebars to change gears, adapting to different terrains and inclines.

5.4 Folding the Bike for Storage/Transport
To fold your KF9 Pro:
- Ensure the bike is powered off.
- Lower the seat post completely.
- Release the handlebar stem quick-release and fold the handlebars down.
- Release the main frame folding latch and carefully fold the frame in half.
- Fold the pedals inward (Figure 8).

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Care
- Always use the original charger provided with your e-bike.
- Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery. Charge it regularly, especially if not used for extended periods.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for a long time, charge it to about 50-70% capacity.
- Avoid exposing the battery to water or moisture.
6.2 General Bike Maintenance
- Brakes: Regularly check the hydraulic disc brakes for proper function and wear. Ensure brake levers are firm and responsive.
- Tires: Maintain correct tire pressure as indicated on the tire sidewall. Inspect tires for wear, punctures, or damage before each ride.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated for smooth operation and to prevent rust.
- Bolts and Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick-release levers to ensure they are securely tightened. Pay special attention to folding mechanisms.
- Cleaning: Clean your e-bike with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
