3. Product Overview

Indicator Lights:
- Bluetooth 1/2/3: Indicates the active Bluetooth channel and pairing status.
- 2.4G: Indicates the active 2.4GHz USB receiver connection.

Function Keys:

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the keyboard.
- Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
4.2 Powering On/Off
Locate the power switch on the back or side of the keyboard. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on the keyboard. Slide it to 'OFF' when not in use to conserve battery life.
4.3 Connecting via 2.4GHz USB Receiver
This method provides a stable wireless connection using the included USB receiver.
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Locate the USB receiver, which may be stored in the battery compartment.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Press
Fn + 4on the keyboard to select the 2.4G channel. The 2.4G indicator light will turn solid, indicating a successful connection. - Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
4.4 Connecting via Bluetooth (Multi-pairing)
The SPK6407 can pair with up to three different Bluetooth devices.
- Select a Bluetooth Channel: Press
Fn + 1,Fn + 2, orFn + 3to choose an available Bluetooth channel. The corresponding indicator light will blink slowly. - Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold
Fn + Pfor 3-5 seconds until the selected channel indicator light blinks rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode. - Enable Bluetooth on Your Device: On your computer, tablet, or smartphone, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for Devices: Search for new Bluetooth devices. You should see 'Philips SPK6407' appear in the list.
- Connect: Select 'Philips SPK6407' to initiate the connection. The indicator light on the keyboard will turn solid when successfully paired.
- Repeat for Additional Devices: To pair another device, repeat steps 1-5, selecting a different Bluetooth channel (e.g.,
Fn + 2for the second device).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Switching Between Connected Devices
To switch between your paired devices, simply press the corresponding channel key:
