3. Product Overview

Indicator Lights:

  • Bluetooth 1/2/3: Indicates the active Bluetooth channel and pairing status.
  • 2.4G: Indicates the active 2.4GHz USB receiver connection.
  • Caps Lock: Illuminates when Caps Lock is active.
  • Battery Indicator: Flashes when battery is low.

Function Keys:

The top row of keys (F1-F12) serves dual purposes. By default, they act as standard function keys. To activate their secondary multimedia or system control functions, press the Fn key simultaneously with the desired F-key.

  3. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  4. Press Fn + 4 on the keyboard to select the 2.4G channel. The 2.4G indicator light will turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
  5. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.

4.4 Connecting via Bluetooth (Multi-pairing)

The SPK6407 can pair with up to three different Bluetooth devices.

  1. Select a Bluetooth Channel: Press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 to choose an available Bluetooth channel. The corresponding indicator light will blink slowly.
  2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold Fn + P for 3-5 seconds until the selected channel indicator light blinks rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on Your Device: On your computer, tablet, or smartphone, go to the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Search for Devices: Search for new Bluetooth devices. You should see 'Philips SPK6407' appear in the list.
  5. Connect: Select 'Philips SPK6407' to initiate the connection. The indicator light on the keyboard will turn solid when successfully paired.
  6. Repeat for Additional Devices: To pair another device, repeat steps 1-5, selecting a different Bluetooth channel (e.g., Fn + 2 for the second device).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Switching Between Connected Devices

To switch between your paired devices, simply press the corresponding channel key:

  • Press Fn + 1 to switch to Bluetooth Device 1.
  • Press Fn + 2 to switch to Bluetooth Device 2.
  • Press Fn + 3 to switch to Bluetooth Device 3.
  • Press Fn + 4 to switch to the 2.4GHz USB connected device.
