4. Installation and Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The SUNDING 548B uses one AG13 button battery. To install or replace the battery, open the battery cover (usually on the back of the unit) and insert the AG13 battery with the positive (+) pole facing up. Close the cover securely.

4.2. Physical Installation on Bicycle

  1. Fasten the Mount: Securely fasten the mounting shoe onto your bicycle's handlebar using the provided cable ties.
  2. Attach the Sensor: Tie the wired sensor onto the front fork of your bicycle. Ensure it is positioned correctly to align with the magnet.
  3. Install the Magnet: Tie the magnet onto a spoke of your front wheel. Position it so that its plane faces the sensor.

Example: If your wheel diameter is 686mm, the circumference is 686 x 3.14 = 2154.04mm. You would then enter the first four digits, "2154", into the computer's settings.

5. Operation

After installation and initial setup, power on the device. The SUNDING 548B features an intuitive interface for easy operation. Use the buttons on the unit to cycle through different display modes and access functions.

  • Odometer (ODO): Tracks the total distance traveled by the bicycle.
