8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your QD-U03C+ control system, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| System does not power on. | No power supply; incorrect wiring; blown fuse. | Check main power to AC unit. Verify all wiring connections. Inspect the fuse on the PCB (Figure 8.1) and replace if necessary. |
| Remote control not responding. | Dead batteries; obstructed IR receiver; strong light interference. | Replace remote batteries. Ensure no objects block the IR receiver. Relocate the unit or block strong light sources if interfering. |
| Incorrect fan speed or mode operation. | Incorrect settings; wiring issue to fan motor. | Verify settings on remote/display. Check wiring to fan motors. |
| Swing motor direction is wrong. | Incorrect swing motor wiring. | Exchange the common pins of the swing socket. If still incorrect, exchange the common pins of the step motor to other common pins of the swing socket. |
| AC unit not cooling/heating effectively. | Temperature sensor issue; refrigerant levels; other AC unit problems. | Check temperature sensor connection. This may indicate a problem with the AC unit itself, consult an AC technician. |

9. User Tips
- For optimal performance, ensure the temperature sensor is placed in a location that accurately reflects the room temperature and is not exposed to direct drafts or heat sources.
- Utilize the "Sleep function" for energy savings and enhanced comfort during nighttime hours.
- The "Auto-restart function" is useful in areas prone to power outages, as the unit will resume its previous settings once power is restored.
- Regularly check for firmware updates if available from the manufacturer to ensure your system has the latest features and bug fixes (check manufacturer's website).
