Operating Instructions
Always ensure the multimeter is in the correct function mode before making any measurements. Refer to the safety guidelines before operation.
General Operation
- Power On/Off: Rotate the central switch from "OFF" to any desired measurement function to power on. Rotate back to "OFF" to power off.
- Function Selection: Use the rotary switch to select the desired measurement function (e.g., V~ for AC Voltage, V- for DC Voltage, A~ for AC Current, etc.).
- Auto Range: The multimeter operates in auto-range mode, automatically selecting the appropriate measurement range.
- Data Hold: Press the "HOLD" button to freeze the current measurement reading on the display. Press again to release.
- Backlight & Flashlight: The LCD display features a backlight for visibility in low-light conditions. A built-in LED flashlight can illuminate the test area.
- Auto Power Off: The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Measurement Functions
- AC/DC Voltage Measurement (V~ / V-): Connect the test leads to the appropriate input jacks and the circuit under test. Select the voltage function. The multimeter can measure up to 600V AC/DC.
- AC/DC Current Measurement (A~ / A-): For current measurements using the clamp, open the jaw and clamp it around a single conductor. For µA current measurements, use the test leads and appropriate jacks. The multimeter measures 400-4000 µA AC/DC current.
- Resistance Measurement (Ω): Connect test leads to the appropriate jacks and the component. Select the resistance function. Measures up to 40 MΩ.
- Frequency (Hz) & Duty Cycle (%): Select the frequency/duty cycle function. Measures up to 9.999 kHz frequency and 0.1%~99.9% duty cycle.
- Diode Test: Select the diode function. Connect test leads to the diode to measure its forward voltage drop.
- Capacitance Measurement (CAP): Select the capacitance function. Connect test leads to the capacitor.
- Continuity Test (Buzzer): Select the continuity function. If the resistance between the test points is low, the buzzer will sound.
- Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detection: Select the NCV function. Bring the top of the multimeter near a conductor. If AC voltage ≥90V RMS is detected, the device will alert with light and sound.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the multimeter. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the multimeter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Fuse Replacement: The multimeter features resettable PPTC fuse overload protection. If the fuse trips due to overload, remove the overload condition, and the fuse should reset automatically. If the device does not function after an overload, contact support.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Multimeter does not power on. | Dead or incorrectly installed batteries. | Check battery polarity and replace batteries if necessary. |
| Inaccurate readings. | Incorrect function selected; poor test lead connection; environmental interference. | Ensure correct function is selected. Check test lead connections. Move away from strong electromagnetic fields. |
| App connection issues. | Bluetooth not enabled; multimeter too far from device; app not updated. | Ensure Bluetooth is on. Keep multimeter within 15m range. Update AILink app. Restart both devices. |
| "OL" or "OVER" displayed. | Measurement exceeds the selected range. | The multimeter is auto-ranging, but if the value is extremely high, it may indicate an open circuit or a value beyond the device's maximum capability. |

User Tips
- Live Wire Test Caution: When measuring AC current using the clamp, ensure the live and neutral wires are separated. Clamping around both simultaneously will result in a zero amp reading as the currents cancel each other out.
- Safety First: Always utilize the NCV function to quickly check for the presence of AC voltage before touching any wires or components.
- App Data Logging: Leverage the AILink app's data export feature for long-term monitoring and analysis of electrical measurements, which can be particularly useful for diagnosing intermittent issues.
- Backlight Usage: The backlight and flashlight are excellent for working in dimly lit areas, but remember to turn them off when not needed to conserve battery life.
