Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the light with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Resistance: The light is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets. However, it is not designed for submersion. Ensure the Type-C port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the light regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
  • Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a Type-C charger and check for the flashing red indicator.
  • Light not responding to button presses: The battery might be completely drained. Charge the device for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Auto Start/Stop not working: Ensure the light is securely mounted and that there is sufficient movement for the sensor to detect. If mounted on a helmet, minimal head movement might not trigger the sensor, causing it to auto-off. Consider mounting on the seatpost for more consistent movement detection.
  • Brake sensing not activating: Ensure the light is mounted correctly and firmly. Sudden deceleration is required to trigger the brake sensor.

User Tips

  • For optimal performance of the auto start/stop and brake sensing features, mount the light on a part of the bicycle that experiences clear movement and deceleration, such as the seatpost.
  • If using the light on a helmet, be aware that the auto-off feature might activate if head movements are too subtle to register as continuous motion. In such cases, you may need to manually reactivate the light or choose a continuous mode if available.
  • Regularly check the battery level, especially before long rides, to ensure continuous visibility.
