4. Maintenance

4.1. Charging your MiFi

There are two methods to charge your MiFi:

  1. Charging by power adapter: Use a compatible power adapter (5V, 1000mA). Note that the power adapter is a selective accessory and may not be included.
  2. Charging by connecting to a computer or laptop: Use the provided USB-C cable to connect the MiFi to a computer or laptop.

Note: If the MiFi hasn't been used for a long time, please charge the battery before using.

4.2. USB Storage

Connect the MiFi to a computer via a data cable. Once the computer reads an inserted T-Flash card (if present) in the MiFi, it will function as USB storage, allowing you to access files on the card.

4.3. Restore Factory Settings

If you are uncertain about your Wi-Fi settings or wish to revert to default configurations, you can restore factory settings:

  • Via Device Management Website: Log into the Device Management Website and navigate to the appropriate section to restore factory default settings.
  • Via Reset Button: Press and hold the "Reset" button for 5 seconds. The MiFi will reactivate and restore to factory settings.

Note: Restoring factory settings will delete all user-defined Wi-Fi settings and restore Admin settings and Wi-Fi settings to their factory defaults.

  1. Consult the FAQ: View the FAQ available on the device management website by clicking the help icon in the top right corner.
  2. Device Unresponsive: If the MiFi is not responsive, reboot it by pressing the 'Reset' button for about 5 seconds.

Common Issues & Solutions:

  • "NO SIM" displayed: Ensure your Nano SIM card is correctly inserted. If your SIM card has a PIN code/lock, you must disable it using a mobile phone or by contacting your carrier before inserting it into the router. Otherwise, the router cannot work with the SIM card successfully.
