Setup

1. Battery Installation & Charging

  • Drone Battery: Insert the provided 3.7V 500mAh lithium battery into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure it is securely connected.
  • Charging: Connect the drone's lithium battery to the charging cable, then plug the charging cable into a USB power source. Charging time is approximately 60 minutes. The indicator light on the charging cable will typically change or turn off when fully charged.
  • Remote Control Battery: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.

2. Propeller Installation (if needed)

If the propellers are not pre-installed or need replacement:

  • Identify the A and B propellers. Each propeller has a specific mounting position.
  • Use the provided screwdriver to attach the propellers to the motor shafts, ensuring they are firmly secured but not overtightened.

3. Pairing the Drone with Remote Control

  • Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  • Turn on the drone's power switch. The LED lights on the drone will start blinking.
  • Turn on the remote control's power switch.
  • Push the left joystick (Throttle Lever) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's LED lights will stop blinking and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

Watch Remote Control (Gravity Sensor)

The watch remote control allows for gesture-based flight. Wear the watch on your wrist and use hand movements to control the drone's direction and altitude. Refer to the watch remote control's specific instructions for detailed gesture commands.

  • Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance: The drone uses intelligent navigation to avoid obstacles and prevent collisions. When an obstacle is sensed, the UFO will emit an orange blinking light and perform an emergency rebound.

  • Headless Mode: In headless mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, making it easier to control without worrying about the drone's front or back.
  • Intelligent Surround Flight: Easy one-button surround flight without complicated controls.

  • Speed Switching: The UFO supports 3 speeds: low, medium, and high. Adjust the flight speed according to your skill level.

LED Lighting Effects

The H157 Mini Drone features 38-color LED slide lights with various modes:

  • Regular Lights: Multicolored neon, monochrome streamer, two-color streamer, breathing light, changing ticker, streamer ticker.
  • Directional Lighting: When the remote control joystick controls the direction (forward/backward/left/right), the UFO's lights will converge in the corresponding direction.
  • Obstacle Avoidance Lighting: When the UFO senses an obstacle, it will emit an orange blinking light.
  • Low Power Lighting: When the UFO's power level is too low, the light will turn red and stay on.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
  • Propeller Check: Regularly inspect propellers for damage (bends, cracks). Replace any damaged propellers immediately using the spare blades and screwdriver.
  • Battery Care:
    • Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery.
    • Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
    • If the drone will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% before storage.
  • Storage: Store the drone and its accessories in a safe, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
