6. Operating Instructions
6.1. DC Voltage Test
To measure DC voltage:
- Turn the rotary switch to the "V=" position.
- Insert the red test lead into the VΩHzT+ terminal and the black test lead into the COM terminal.
- Connect the test leads across the component or circuit to be measured.
- Read the DC voltage value on the LCD display.
Caution: Do not input voltage more than 1000V DC. Exceeding this limit can damage the meter.
6.2. AC Voltage Test
To measure AC voltage:
- Turn the rotary switch to the "V~" position.
- Insert the red test lead into the VΩHzT+ terminal and the black test lead into the COM terminal.
- Connect the test leads across the component or circuit to be measured.
- Read the AC voltage value on the LCD display.
Caution: Be cautious against electric shock when measuring high voltage. Do not input voltage more than 750V AC.
6.3. Resistance Test
To measure resistance:
- Turn the rotary switch to the "Ω" position.
- Insert the red test lead into the VΩHzT+ terminal and the black test lead into the COM terminal.
- Ensure the circuit under test has all power removed and that all capacitors have been discharged fully before connecting the test leads.
- Connect the test leads across the component to be measured.
- Read the resistance value on the LCD display.
6.4. Temperature Test
To measure temperature:
- Turn the rotary switch to the "℃/℉" position.
- Connect the thermocouple probe to the VΩHzT+ and COM terminals, ensuring correct polarity.
- Place the thermocouple probe in contact with the object or environment whose temperature is to be measured.
