4. Installation
Follow these steps to install your LCD-GD02 display meter:
- Mounting: Securely attach the display to your electric bike or scooter handlebars using the integrated mounting bracket. Ensure it is positioned for optimal visibility while riding.
- Connection: Locate the compatible controller on your electric bike/scooter. Connect the SM5+2PIN cable from the LCD-GD02 display to the corresponding port on your controller. Ensure the connection is firm and secure.
- Cable Management: Route the cable neatly along the frame of your bike/scooter, securing it with cable ties if necessary, to prevent interference with moving parts and protect it from damage.

5. Operation
The LCD-GD02 display provides various functions to monitor your ride. The display features three buttons: '+', 'M' (Mode), and '-'.

Display Indicators:
- Speed: Displays current riding speed (mph or km/h).
- Mileage: Shows ODO (odometer), TRIP (trip distance), AVG (average speed), and MAX (maximum speed).
- Battery Level: Indicates the remaining battery charge.
- PAS Level: Shows the current Pedal Assist System level.
- ERROR: Illuminates to indicate a system error.
- ED (Lights): May indicate headlight status.
- NFC: Near Field Communication indicator (functionality may vary).
Basic Operation:
- Power On/Off: Typically, press and hold the 'M' button to power the display on or off.
- Change Display Modes: Short press the 'M' button to cycle through different display modes such as ODO, TRIP, AVG, and MAX.

- 'ERROR' Indicator On:
- The 'ERROR' icon indicates a fault in the e-bike system. Consult your e-bike's main user manual or controller documentation for specific error code interpretations.
- Common causes include motor issues, controller malfunctions, or sensor problems.
- Incorrect Speed/Mileage Readings:
- Ensure the wheel speed sensor (if external) is correctly installed and functioning.
- Check for any loose connections to the display or controller.
- Display Appearance/Text Differences: Note that due to different manufacturing batches, there may be minor variations in the product's appearance, color, or printed text. These differences typically do not affect the functionality or use of the display.
