2. Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before installing and operating this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, explosion, electrical shock, or other injuries.

• Ensure proper ventilation when operating the heater, especially in enclosed spaces, to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.
• Do not block the air inlet or outlet. Maintain at least 10 cm clearance around these areas to ensure proper cooling and unblocked airflow.
• Connect the positive and negative main wires securely to the car battery to ensure the normal operation of the main unit.
• Use only diesel fuel with this heater.
• Keep flammable materials away from the heater.
• Do not operate the heater if any part is damaged or malfunctioning.

5. Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your diesel air heater. Refer to the diagrams and instructions below.

5.1 Component Overview

• Motor Assembly: Features a copper core motor, coil winding, and dynamic balance technology for stable rotation and quiet operation.

5.2 General Installation Diagram

• The positive and negative main wires must be connected to the car battery to ensure the normal operation of the main unit.
• The air inlet and the air outlet must be reserved for a clearance of about 10 cm to ensure that the air inlet and outlet are cooled and unblocked.
• The oil pump is preferred to be installed between 15°~35° from the horizontal.
• Route the exhaust pipe towards the rear of the car.

• Truck:
  1. On the co-driver's legroom.
  2. On the back wall of the cab.
  3. Driver's seat backrest.
  4. Within the tool box.
• RV:
  1. In front of the passenger seat.
  2. Between the driver seat and passenger seat.
  3. Under the container.
  4. Within the tool box.
  5. In the trunk.
• 5/7 Seater Vehicles: The heater is mainly installed in the passenger room or baggage room of the vehicle. If it cannot be installed, fix the heater under the underside of the vehicle, but beware of splashing.
• Excavator:
  1. Inside the driver's seat.
  2. On the back wall of the cab.
  3. Inside the protection box.

6. Operation

Your Sunster diesel air heater can be operated via the LCD monitor or the remote control. The heater is designed for low energy consumption, with a fuel consumption rate of 0.16-0.45 L/H. A 5L fuel tank can provide heat for up to 100 hours.

6.1 LCD Monitor Controls

The heater may come with different LCD monitor types. Identify your monitor type and refer to the corresponding controls and features.

6.2 Remote Control Operation

The remote control allows you to operate the heater from a distance of up to 80 meters (263 feet).

6.3 Temperature Control and Timing

• Temperature Adjustment: The LCD monitor provides automatic temperature calibration. The adjustable temperature range is typically 8°C to 35°C (46°F to 95°F).
• Timing Function: Most models include a timing function (countdown mode) allowing you to pre-set heating times. Some models may not have this feature (e.g., A2172).
