1. Product Overview

The TECTINTER SF3000 is a versatile mini portable handheld game player featuring a 4.5-inch IPS screen. It comes pre-loaded with over 20,000 classic games and supports 14 different emulators, offering a wide range of gaming experiences. Beyond gaming, this device also functions as a multimedia player, supporting video playback, music, photo viewing, and e-book reading. It runs on a Linux operating system and is powered by a dual-core high-performance processor.

2. Setup Guide

2.1. Packing List

Please check the contents of your package:

  • 1 x SF3000 Handheld Game Console
  • 1 x TF Card (64GB, pre-installed with 20000+ games)
  • 1 x Charging Cable (Type-C)
  • 1 x Adapter
  • 1 x Box
  • 2 x Controllers (Optional, if purchased with controller option)

2.2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the console's charging port and the adapter to a power source. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

2.3. TF Card Installation

The console requires the TF card to be installed to function. Ensure the 64GB TF card (pre-loaded with games) is properly inserted into the TF card slot before powering on the device. The console will not turn on without the TF card.

2.4. Connecting External Controllers (Optional)

If you have purchased the console with external controllers, you can connect them for two-player gameplay. Use the provided USB adapter (if necessary) to connect the controllers to the console's OTG port.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Slide the ON/OFF key to the 'ON' position. The screen will display a 'Welcome' message, and then the main menu.
  • Power Off: Slide the ON/OFF key to the 'OFF' position.

3.2. Navigation

Use the directional keys (D-pad) or the analog joysticks to navigate through menus and game selections. The A, B, X, Y buttons are used for selection and actions within games. 'SELECT' and 'START' buttons are for menu functions and starting games.

3.3. Gaming

The console supports 14 emulators and comes with over 20,000 classic games. You can select games from the main menu.

3.3.2. Saving and Loading Game Progress

To save or load game progress, or to quit/restart a game, press the SELECT + START buttons simultaneously to bring up the in-game menu. You can then choose the desired option.

3.3.3. Downloading Additional Games

The console supports downloading additional games. You can expand your game library by adding more ROMs to the TF card. Refer to online resources for compatible ROMs and instructions on how to add them to the TF card.

3.4. Multimedia Functions

The SF3000 is not just a game console; it also offers various multimedia features:

  • Movie: Play videos from the TF card or an external USB drive connected via the OTG port.
  • Music: Listen to music files stored on the TF card.
  • Photos: View image files.
  • E-book: Read text files.

3.5. Settings

Access the settings menu to customize your experience:

  • Language: Choose from 25 built-in languages, including Chinese, English, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Volume: Adjust the audio output level.
  • Brightness: Adjust screen brightness for comfortable viewing.
  • Keymapping: Customize button assignments.
  • Factory Reset: Reset the console to its default settings.

3.6. Emergency Charging (Power Bank Function)

The SF3000 supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality, allowing it to act as a power bank to charge your mobile phone in emergencies. Connect your phone to the console's Type-C port using an appropriate cable.

3.7. Built-in Stand

The console features an equipped stand on its back. This allows you to prop up the device on a table, providing a comfortable viewing angle for watching videos or playing games, and helping to prevent sweaty hands during extended use.

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the console's exterior. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the console in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • TF Card: Handle the TF card with care. Avoid bending or exposing it to static electricity.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Console does not power on: Ensure the TF card is properly inserted. The console requires the TF card to boot up. Also, check if the battery is charged.
  • Games not loading or freezing: Ensure the game files on the TF card are not corrupted. Try restarting the console.
  • Screen issues (no display, flickering): Ensure the console is charged. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset (note: this will erase custom settings).
  • External controllers not responding: Ensure the controllers are properly connected via the OTG port and are powered on (if applicable).
  • Cannot connect to TV: This model does not support direct TV output.
