2. Important Notices and Safety Precautions
Please read these notices carefully before installation and operation to ensure safe and efficient use of the solar charge controller.
- Common Positive Controller: This MPPT series is a common positive controller. The positive poles of the PV array, battery, and load can be grounded simultaneously.
- Inverter/High Current Load Connection: If an inverter or other device with a high starting current is part of your system, connect it directly to the battery. Do NOT connect such devices to the controller's load terminals.
- Lithium Battery Setup: If using lithium batteries, ensure you set the system voltage first, and then configure the corresponding battery type before use. Refer to section 3.9 for detailed instructions.
3. Installation and Wiring
3.1 Mounting the Unit
Consider the following points before selecting where to install the controller:
- Do not mount the inverter on flammable construction materials.
- Mount on a solid surface.
- Install this inverter at eye level to allow the LCD display to be read at all times.
- For proper air circulation to dissipate heat, allow a clearance of approximately 20 cm to the sides and approximately 50 cm above and below the unit.
- The ambient temperature should be between 0°C and 55°C to ensure optimal operation.
- The recommended installation position is to be adhered to the wall vertically.
- Be sure to keep other objects and surfaces as shown in the diagram to guarantee sufficient heat dissipation and to have enough space for removing wires.
CAUTION: SUITABLE FOR MOUNTING ON CONCRETE OR OTHER NON-COMBUSTIBLE SURFACE ONLY.
