5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any charging cable before cleaning.
- Wipe the carbon fiber body with a soft, dry cloth.
- For the chuck area, use a small brush to remove any dust or debris from grinding.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Bit Care
- After each use, clean any residue from the bits.
- Store bits in their designated slots within the aluminum alloy storage box to prevent damage and loss.
- Replace worn or dull bits to maintain optimal performance and prevent damage to your work material.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Device Not Turning On
- Battery: Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the pen to the charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Power Button: Make sure you are pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds, not just a quick press.
6.2 Inconsistent Speed or Performance
- Bit Installation: Check if the bit is securely installed in the chuck. A loose bit can cause vibrations and inconsistent performance.
- Bit Condition: Ensure the bit is not worn, dull, or damaged. Replace if necessary.
- Material: Verify that the chosen speed and bit are appropriate for the material you are working on.
- App Connection: If using app control, ensure a stable Bluetooth connection.
6.3 App Connectivity Issues
- Bluetooth: Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the GC6 is powered on.
- App Version: Ensure your ARROWMAX app is updated to the latest version.
- Re-pair: Try unpairing and re-pairing the device within the app's settings.

8. User Tips
- Bit Selection: Always choose the appropriate bit for the material and task. Finer bits are for detail work, while coarser bits are for material removal.
- Gentle Pressure: Allow the tool's speed to do the work. Excessive pressure can lead to reduced performance, bit wear, and potential damage to the tool or workpiece.
- Practice: If you are new to rotary tools, practice on scrap material before working on your final project to get a feel for the tool's speed and control.
- Cleanliness: Regularly clean the chuck and bits to ensure smooth operation and prolong the life of your accessories.
- App Customization: Utilize the ARROWMAX app to save custom speed and direction settings for frequently performed tasks on specific materials. This can significantly improve consistency and efficiency.
