Setup and Initial Adjustment

Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to the furthest position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
  3. Push the crown back into its original position to start the watch.

Setting the Date and Day of the Week

  1. Pull the crown out to the middle position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
  3. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day of the week.
  4. Once the date and day are set, push the crown back into its original position.

Note: Avoid setting the date and day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the watch's internal mechanism is engaged in changing the date, and manual adjustment during this period could damage the movement.

Adjusting the Watch Band

The watch features a folding clasp with safety. To adjust the band length, it may be necessary to remove or add links. This procedure often requires specialized tools and is best performed by a professional watchmaker to avoid damaging the band or clasp.

Operating Your Watch

Water Resistance

Your OLEVS 5567 watch is rated for 3ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as hand washing, light rain, or accidental splashes. It is not recommended for swimming, showering, diving, or any activities involving prolonged water immersion or high-pressure water exposure.

Luminous Display

The watch features HD luminous hands, allowing for clear time reading in low-light conditions. The luminous material absorbs light during the day and emits a glow in the dark.

Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe your watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. For the stainless steel band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Do not expose your watch to harsh chemicals, solvents, or detergents, as these can damage the case, band, and seals.
  • Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes, which can affect the movement and water resistance.
  • Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, as they can interfere with the quartz movement's accuracy.
  • Battery Replacement: The watch is powered by an original quartz movement with an included battery. When the battery runs out, it should be replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and function.
  • Impact: While durable, avoid dropping or subjecting the watch to strong impacts.

Troubleshooting

Watch Not Running

  • Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it's pulled out, the watch will not run.
  • The battery may be depleted. A quartz watch requires a battery to operate. If the watch stops, the battery likely needs replacement.

Incorrect Time/Date

  • Refer to the "Setting the Time" and "Setting the Date and Day of the Week" sections to correctly adjust the watch.
  • Ensure adjustments are not made between 9 PM and 3 AM.

Fogging Under Crystal

  • If condensation appears under the crystal, it may indicate a breach in the water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and have the watch inspected by a professional.
