4.1 Safety Precautions

CAUTION: Electrical Shock or Equipment Damage Hazard. Disconnect power supply before installation to prevent electric shock or short circuits.

The BHT-009 Matter thermostat comes in three main models, each designed for a specific heating system. Ensure you use the correct wiring diagram for your model (GA, GB, or GC).

4.3 Mounting

The thermostat is designed to fit into a standard 86 x 86mm square or European 60mm round installation box. Secure the thermostat to the wall box using the provided screws after completing the wiring.

To connect your thermostat to the Tuya Smart Life app:

  1. Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.
  2. Download the "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store.

  4. Scan the QR code located on the back of the thermostat or use the app's Bluetooth pairing function to discover the device.
  5. Follow the prompts in the app to complete the connection to your Wi-Fi network.
