Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
- Locate the DC 5V charging port on the rear of the speaker (refer to Figure 1).
- Connect the provided USB data cable to the speaker's DC 5V port and the other end to a standard USB charging adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate.
- A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours. The indicator light will change or turn off once charging is complete.
2. Powering On/Off
- To power on, slide the ON/OFF switch (refer to Figure 1) to the 'ON' position. You will hear an audible prompt.
- To power off, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
Operating Instructions
1. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (it usually defaults to Bluetooth mode upon power-on). You will hear a pairing prompt.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "TG506" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the speaker is ready for audio playback.
2. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing (for two TG506 speakers)
To enjoy stereo sound, you can pair two TG506 speakers together:
- Ensure both TG506 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- Press and hold the 'M' (Mode) button on one of the speakers for a few seconds until you hear a pairing tone. This speaker will become the primary unit.
- The two speakers will automatically search for and pair with each other. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 1. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.
3. FM Radio Mode
- Power on the speaker.
- Press the 'M' (Mode) button repeatedly until you hear the FM radio prompt.
- Press the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
- Use the 'Previous Track' and 'Next Track' buttons to navigate between saved stations.
4. AUX Input Mode
- Power on the speaker.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker (refer to Figure 1) and the other end to your audio source (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
- The speaker should automatically switch to AUX mode. If not, press the 'M' (Mode) button until AUX mode is selected.
5. TF Card / USB Drive Playback
- Power on the speaker.
- Insert a TF card into the TF card slot or a USB drive into the USB port (refer to Figure 1).
- The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing audio files.
- Use the control buttons to play/pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.
6. Hands-Free Phone Calls
- When connected via Bluetooth to your phone, incoming calls will be announced through the speaker.
- Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call.
- Press the Play/Pause button again to end a call.
- Press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject an incoming call.
7. General Control Buttons
- Play/Pause: Short press to play or pause music; short press to answer/end calls; long press to reject calls.
- Volume Down / Previous Track: Short press for previous track; long press to decrease volume.
- Volume Up / Next Track: Short press for next track; long press to increase volume.
- Mode (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX, TF Card, and USB modes.
Maintenance
- Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures. This speaker is not waterproof.
- Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
- When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place and charge it periodically to maintain battery health.
