3. Package Contents
- 1 x HelloRadioSky HR7C 2.4G 8-channel PWM Receiver
- 2 x 18cm High Sensitivity Antennas
4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Antenna Installation
The HR7C receiver is equipped with two 18cm high sensitivity antennas. For optimal signal reception, ensure the antennas are positioned correctly and are not obstructed by carbon fiber or metal components of your model. The antennas feature silicone protection to enhance durability and resist wear and tear.

4.2 Power Connection
Connect the receiver to a stable power source within the specified range of 4.5-8.4V. Ensure correct polarity to prevent damage to the receiver.

4.3 Model Compatibility
The HR7C receiver is designed for broad compatibility, fitting various RC models including airplanes, helicopters, fixed-wing gliders, engineering vehicles, and drones. Its compact size and standard connections facilitate easy installation.

5. Binding and Operation
5.1 Binding Procedure (Contra-frequency method)
- Ensure your remote control is turned off.
- Repeatedly turn the receiver power ON and OFF three times. The receiver's status light will flash twice, indicating it has entered the frequency binding mode.
- Turn on your remote control. Access the EXPRESS LUA interface and select the "BIND" option to confirm the binding process.
- Once the receiver's status light remains steadily ON, the frequency setting is successful, and the receiver is bound to your remote control.

5.2 Status Light Indications
The receiver's status light provides important feedback on its current state:
| Status Light | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Slow flash (500ms) | Receiver disconnected / Waiting for transmitter |
| Fast flash (25ms) | WIFI upgrade mode / WIFI On |
| Double flash | Receiver in bind mode |
| Triple flash | Mode matching failed / Receiver functional, mode selection error |
| Solid | Receiver connected / Receiver functional |

5.3 Telemetry and Upgrades
The HR7C receiver supports RSSI feedback, providing real-time signal strength information. Additionally, when operating in D8 mode, it supports voltage feedback, allowing for automatic switch detection. The receiver also supports convenient WiFi upgrades and settings for firmware updates and configuration adjustments.

6. Maintenance
- Keep the receiver clean and free from dust, dirt, and moisture.
- Regularly inspect antenna connections for any signs of damage or wear.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the receiver to prevent overheating during operation.
- Avoid exposing the receiver to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
7. Troubleshooting
- Receiver not connecting/no signal:
- Review the binding procedure (Section 5.1) and check the status light indications (Section 5.2).
- Ensure the remote control is powered on and correctly configured.
- Verify the receiver's power supply is within the 4.5-8.4V range and correctly connected.
- Confirm that both the remote control and receiver are set to compatible signal formats (D8/D16v1/SFHSS).
- Intermittent signal loss:
- Check antenna placement; ensure they are not obstructed, bent, or damaged.
- Verify that the operating distance is within the specified control range (greater than 1km).
- Identify and eliminate potential sources of radio interference in your operating environment.
- No telemetry data displayed:
- Ensure your remote control system supports telemetry display.
- Confirm the receiver is properly bound and configured for feedback (especially for D8 voltage feedback).
