4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Antenna Installation

The HR7C receiver is equipped with two 18cm high sensitivity antennas. For optimal signal reception, ensure the antennas are positioned correctly and are not obstructed by carbon fiber or metal components of your model. The antennas feature silicone protection to enhance durability and resist wear and tear.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the receiver to a stable power source within the specified range of 4.5-8.4V. Ensure correct polarity to prevent damage to the receiver.

5. Binding and Operation

5.1 Binding Procedure (Contra-frequency method)

  1. Ensure your remote control is turned off.
  2. Repeatedly turn the receiver power ON and OFF three times. The receiver's status light will flash twice, indicating it has entered the frequency binding mode.
  3. Turn on your remote control. Access the EXPRESS LUA interface and select the "BIND" option to confirm the binding process.
  4. Once the receiver's status light remains steadily ON, the frequency setting is successful, and the receiver is bound to your remote control.

5.2 Status Light Indications

The receiver's status light provides important feedback on its current state:

    • Confirm that both the remote control and receiver are set to compatible signal formats (D8/D16v1/SFHSS).
  • Intermittent signal loss:
    • Check antenna placement; ensure they are not obstructed, bent, or damaged.
    • Verify that the operating distance is within the specified control range (greater than 1km).
    • Identify and eliminate potential sources of radio interference in your operating environment.
  • No telemetry data displayed:
    • Ensure your remote control system supports telemetry display.
    • Confirm the receiver is properly bound and configured for feedback (especially for D8 voltage feedback).
