3. Setup

3.1. App Download and Installation

The dash cam operates primarily through the "Viidure" mobile application. You can download the app in two ways:

1. App Store Download:
   • For iOS devices, search for "Viidure" in the Apple App Store.
   • For Android devices, search for "Viidure" in the Google Play Store.
2. QR Code Scan:

   Scan the QR code below using a QR code scanner or a "scan" function in apps like WeChat. Select the corresponding mobile phone system (iOS or Android) to download.

3.2. Account Registration

After installing the "Viidure" app:

1. Open the "Viidure" app and enter the account registration interface.
2. Fill in the required information, obtain the verification code, and complete the registration.

3.3. SD Card Insertion

Locate the TF card slot on the dash cam. Insert a high-speed Class 10 (or above) TF card with a minimum capacity of 8GB and a maximum supported capacity of 128GB. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.

3.4. Physical Installation

Mount the dash cam securely on your car's windshield, ensuring it has a clear view of the road. Route the power cable neatly to the car charger port, avoiding interference with driving controls.

3.5. Connecting to the Camera via Wi-Fi

To connect your mobile phone to the dash cam:

1. Go to your mobile phone's Wi-Fi settings.
2. Find the dash cam's Wi-Fi network (SSID typically starts with "OK***" or "Dash Cam B-T**").
3. Connect to this network. The default password is "12345678".

3.6. Optional: 24-Hour Parking Monitoring (Buck Line Installation)

For continuous 24-hour parking monitoring, a separate Buck Line accessory is required. This accessory replaces the standard car charger and connects directly to your car's battery or ACC power source. Professional installation is highly recommended due to varying car wiring configurations.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power Key Functions

• Turning On: In the shutdown state, long-press the power key for 2 seconds to turn on the device. It will automatically begin recording.
• Turning Off: When the device is on, long-press the power key for 2 seconds. The device will automatically save the current video file and user settings, then shut down.

• Wi-Fi Password: Modify the dash cam's Wi-Fi password.
• Recording: Enable or disable recording.

5. Maintenance

• TF Card Formatting: Regularly format the TF card through the "Viidure" app to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues with file information retrieval.
• Lens Cleaning: If images appear foggy, check the lens for dirt or fingerprints. Wipe the lens gently with a soft, clean lens paper or cloth.
• Reset Function: If the recorder crashes or cannot be switched on/off normally, press the reset key (usually a small button requiring a sharp object like a paperclip) to restart the device.

1. Cannot take photos/videos or recording stops automatically:
   • Check if the TF card has enough space.

2. Replay issues ("File" error, incomplete files):
   • This may occur if TF card memory data is corrupted. Use the "Format" function in the Car DVR settings (via app) to reformat the card.
3. Foggy image:

4. Recorder does not work:

5. Cannot connect mobile phone to the product (Wi-Fi issues):
   • Ensure your mobile phone is connected to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network, not another hotspot.
   • If the real-time picture is stuck, your phone might be too far from the recorder, or there might be too many interfering Wi-Fi signals nearby. Move closer or try in an area with less Wi-Fi interference.

   • This can happen if there are too many video files on the TF card. Regularly format the TF card.
7. Multiple clients connecting:
   • Only one mobile phone can be linked to the dash cam at a time. Ensure no other devices are connected.
8. Video playback issues on computer:
   • The product uses H.264 compression (MOV/MP4 format). Some built-in Windows media players may not support this codec well. It is recommended to download professional playback software (e.g., PotPlayer) for smooth playback.
