4.1. Inserting SIM Cards and MicroSD Card

1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your OPPO A40m.
2. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
3. Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down.
4. Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone until it clicks into place.

4.2. Initial Power On and Setup

1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the OPPO logo appears.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and set up your Google account.
3. You will be guided through setting up security features like the side-mounted fingerprint sensor and screen lock.

5.1. Power On/Off and Restart

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the device vibrates and the OPPO logo appears.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then tap "Power off" on the screen.

5.2. Charging Your Device

The OPPO A40m supports SUPERVOOC™ 45W fast charging. Use the provided USB Type-C cable and a compatible 45W SUPERVOOC™ charger for optimal charging speeds. The device can charge from 0% to 50% in approximately 30 minutes.

• Connect the USB cable to the phone's Type-C port.
• Connect the other end of the cable to the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
• The phone will display a charging indicator.
