4.2. How to Install the Rear Camera
- Insert the 2.5mm jack of the camera cable into the AV-IN hole of your dashcam or screen.
- Install the rear camera in the desired position on your vehicle (e.g., above the license plate).
- Connect the red wire from the camera cable to the positive pole of your car's reversing light.
- When reversing, the screen will automatically display the image from the rear camera.

Installation of the rear camera: Connect red wire to reverse light+, connect camera to AV-IN interface on dash cam.
4.3. Camera Installation Methods
The camera can be installed in various positions, typically at the front or rear of the vehicle.

Cam install method ①: Front install

Cam install method ②: Rear install
4.4. How to Choose the Appropriate Cable Length
Selecting the correct cable length is crucial for proper functionality and to prevent damage to your dashcam.
- 6M/10M Cable: These cables do not have a voltage control chip and are suitable only for vehicles with a 12V power supply (e.g., most household cars or small trucks).
- 15M Cable: This cable is equipped with a voltage control chip. It can reduce a 24V voltage to approximately 12V, ensuring stable signal transmission to the dashcam. This cable is necessary for large trucks or vehicles with a 24V power supply.
Important: For 24V vehicles, it is mandatory to choose a 15M cable. Using a 10M cable with a 24V system may cause damage to the dashcam motherboard and result in a blue screen image.

In-car demonstration of the camera's front and rear views, including parking assistance features.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the lens or housing.
- Waterproof: The camera has an IP67/IP68 waterproof rating, making it resistant to dust and water immersion. However, avoid high-pressure water jets directly on the camera.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically check the video cable for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage. Ensure all connections are secure.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. No Image or Blue Screen
- Ensure the 2.5mm 4Pin AV-IN connector is fully inserted into the dashcam.
- Verify that the red wire is correctly connected to the positive pole of the car's reversing light.
- Check if the cable length is appropriate for your vehicle's voltage (15M cable for 24V vehicles). Using a 10M cable with a 24V system can cause a blue screen or damage.
7.2. Image is Inverse
If the image appears inverse, it might be due to incorrect wiring or a setting on your dashcam. Ensure the camera is installed in the correct orientation. If the issue persists, consult your dashcam's manual for image flip or mirror settings.
7.3. Parking Lines Not Appearing
Ensure the red wire is properly connected to the reversing light. The guiding lines are typically activated when the reverse gear is engaged.
7.4. Can the Reverse Line be Removed?
The reverse line (guiding line) cannot be physically removed from the camera's output. If you do not wish to see the reverse line, you can choose not to connect the red wire to the reverse light. However, in this case, the camera screen will not automatically turn on when reversing, and you would need to manually switch to the camera view on your dashcam.
8. User Tips
- Cable Management: When installing, route the cable carefully to avoid pinching or excessive bending, which can damage the internal wires.
- Test Before Finalizing: Before securing all components, perform a quick test to ensure the camera functions correctly and the display is clear.
- Optimal Placement: Experiment with different mounting positions for the rear camera to find the best viewing angle for your vehicle and parking habits.
