5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the microwave oven.
- Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged.
- Retain the packaging materials for future transport or disposal.
5.2 Turntable Assembly
- Place the turntable ring assembly in the circular depression on the oven floor.
- Place the glass turntable onto the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely in the center.
5.3 Placement
- Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in the oven.
- Ensure adequate ventilation: Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) of space at the rear, 20 cm (8 inches) at the top, and 5 cm (2 inches) on each side for proper airflow.
- Do not block air vents.
- Keep the oven away from heat and steam sources.
- Do not place the oven near a radio or TV, as it may cause interference.
5.4 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a standard 240V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

6. Operating Instructions
Your COMFEE microwave oven features two mechanical control knobs for easy operation: one for power level and one for timer/defrost.

6.1 Setting the Power Level
The microwave offers 5 power levels to suit various cooking needs:

6.2 Setting the Cooking Timer
- Place the food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable inside the oven.
- Close the oven door firmly.
- Turn the lower "TIMER / DEFROST" knob to your desired cooking time (from 1 to 30 minutes). The oven will start automatically.
- When the set time expires, the oven will stop and a bell will sound.
- To stop cooking before the timer expires, simply open the oven door.
6.3 Defrost Function
The "TIMER / DEFROST" knob also includes settings for defrosting by weight (0.2kg to 1.0kg).
- Place the frozen food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door firmly.
- Turn the lower "TIMER / DEFROST" knob to the desired weight setting for defrosting. The oven will automatically adjust the defrost time based on the weight.
- When the set time expires, the oven will stop and a bell will sound.
- It is recommended to turn or separate food items halfway through the defrosting process for more even results.
7. Care and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper care will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your microwave oven.
7.1 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Ensure no water enters the ventilation openings.
7.2 Cleaning the Interior
- Wipe the inside of the oven with a soft, damp cloth after each use.
- For stubborn food splatters, place a bowl of water with a few lemon slices inside and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen the residue, making it easier to wipe clean.
- Clean the door seals and sealing surfaces regularly to ensure proper door closure.
