1. Introduction
The HRCDZMY U10 Wireless WiFi Signal Amplifier and Network Extender is designed to expand your existing wireless network coverage and eliminate Wi-Fi "dead zones". It supports multiple operating modes including Repeater, Access Point (AP), and Router mode, offering versatile solutions for various networking needs. This device is available in two main speed variants: AC1200 (1200Mbps) with dual-band 2.4GHz & 5.8GHz, and AC300 (300Mbps) with 2.4GHz dual band. Please refer to the specifications for your specific model.

2. Package Contents
- U10 Wireless WiFi Extender (Black or White, depending on model)
- Ethernet Cable
- Quick Installation Guide
- Reset Pin (often looks like a SIM ejector tool)
3. Product Overview and Modes
The U10 extender offers three primary operating modes:
- Repeater Mode: Extends the range of an existing wireless network.
- AP Mode (Access Point): Creates a wireless network from a wired connection.
- Router Mode: Functions as a primary router, connecting to a fiber optic modem via PPPOE.

The device features multiple LED indicators for status: Reset/WPS, LAN, WAN, 5.8G, 2.4G, and Power. It also includes WAN and LAN ports for wired connections.
4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Easy Installation & Quick Positioning (WPS Method)
- Plug in the Extender: Plug the U10 extender into an electrical outlet near your host router. Wait until the 5G and 2.4G LEDs are blinking.
- Activate WPS on Router: Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your host router for approximately 1 second.
- Activate WPS on Extender: Press the WPS button on the U10 extender. The WPS function will activate, and the extender will attempt to connect automatically.
- Relocate the Extender: Once connected (indicated by stable LEDs), unplug the extender and move it to a desired location between your router and the Wi-Fi "dead zone". Ensure the location is within the range of your existing host network for optimal signal.
- Connect to Extended Network: On your device (phone, laptop, etc.), connect to the extended network. The extended network name will typically be your Host Router's network name with "-2G-EXT" and "-5G-EXT" at the end. Use the same password as your host network.

4.2. Web Browser Setup
- Plug in the Extender: Plug the U10 extender into an electrical outlet.
- Connect to Extender's Network: Find the SSID (Network Name) printed on the label of the extender (e.g., "Wireless2.4G_A36164" or "Wireless5G_A36164"). Connect your mobile phone or computer to this network.
- Access Management Page: After a while, your device may automatically jump to the extender's management page. If not, open a web browser and enter "192.168.1.1" in the address bar.
- Log In: Use "admin" (lowercase) for both the username and password to log in.
- Select WISP Mode: In the menu bar, select "WISP Mode".
- Scan for Host Network: Click the button to scan for available access points.
- Select Host Network: Choose your router's host network from the list.
- Enter Password: Enter your router's password. You can either keep the default SSID (network name) for the extended network or customize it.
- Save and Apply: Save the settings. The extender will restart and broadcast the extended network.
- Relocate and Connect: Similar to the WPS method, relocate the extender to an optimal position and connect your devices to the new extended network using the configured password.
5. Operating the Extender
Once set up, the U10 extender will automatically broadcast the extended Wi-Fi network. You can connect any Wi-Fi enabled device (PC, laptop, smartphone, smart TV, tablet, TV box) to this network. For optimal performance, ensure the extender is placed in a location where it receives a good signal from your main router and can effectively cover the desired "dead zones".

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Placement: Avoid placing the extender in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in excessively humid environments.
- Ventilation: Ensure the device has adequate ventilation and its vents are not blocked.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1. No Internet Access After Setup
- Verify that your main router has internet access.
- Ensure the extender is placed within the effective range of your main router.
- Check if the correct Wi-Fi password for your main router was entered during setup.
- Try restarting both your main router and the extender.
8.2. Slow Speed or Intermittent Connection
- Relocation: The extender might be too far from the main router or too far from your devices. Experiment with different locations to find an optimal balance. The ideal location is halfway between your router and the "dead zone".
- Interference: Other electronic devices (microwaves, cordless phones) can cause interference. Try moving the extender away from such devices.
- Channel Congestion: If many networks are using the same Wi-Fi channel, it can cause slowdowns. You might need to change the Wi-Fi channel on your main router.

8.3. How to Reset the Extender to Factory Default Settings
If you encounter persistent issues or forget your login credentials, you can reset the extender:
- While the extender is powered on, locate the small "RESET" hole on the device.
- Use the provided reset pin (or a paperclip) to press and hold the Reset button inside the hole for approximately 5 seconds.
- Release the button. The extender will restart with factory default settings. You will then need to reconfigure it.

9. User Tips
- Placement is Key: The effectiveness of your WiFi extender heavily depends on its placement. Avoid placing it in corners, behind large furniture, or near thick walls. A central location, roughly halfway between your router and the area needing coverage, is often best.
- Dual-Band Advantage: If you have the AC1200 dual-band model, utilize both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz networks. The 2.4GHz band offers wider coverage, while the 5.8GHz band provides faster speeds over shorter distances. Connect devices accordingly.
- Wired Connections: For devices like smart TVs or gaming consoles that require stable connections, use the LAN port on the extender to connect them directly via an Ethernet cable. This can provide a more reliable and faster connection than Wi-Fi.
- Regular Reboots: Occasionally restarting your main router and the extender can help clear network caches and improve performance.
