3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Physical Installation
Follow these steps to connect the Wi-Fi Plug Pro-03 to your solar inverter. The connection method depends on your specific Datalogger Model and inverter interface:
- **Identify Interface**: Find the corresponding interface code on your inverter based on the Datalogger Model table below. This will determine the correct connection method.

- **For Interface Code 1 (Method 1)**: Connect the 4PIN power cable of the Wi-Fi Plug Pro to the inverter. Align the 4-hole aviation plug with the inverter and plug it in. Tighten the nut to secure it.
- **For Interface Code 2 (Method 2)**: Connect the 2 PIN green interface of the Wi-Fi Plug Pro to the RS-485 terminal of the inverter, then connect the 5PIN power cable of the Wi-Fi Plug Pro to the inverter.
- **For Interface Code 3 (RJ-45)**: Align the RJ-45 crystal head of the Wi-Fi Plug Pro with the inverter's port and insert it tightly. Fasten the Wi-Fi Plug Pro to the inverter with the screw.
- **For Interface Code 4 (Serial Port)**: Align the serial port of the Wi-Fi Plug Pro with the inverter's port and plug it in tightly. Fasten the Wi-Fi Plug Pro to the inverter with the screw.
- **Confirm LED Status**: After completing the connection, confirm the status of the LED light. When 4 LED lights remain continuously on, it indicates the module is in normal working status.

3.2 App Download and Account Setup
To utilize the remote monitoring features, download the SmartESS application and set up your account:
- **Download App**: Scan the QR codes below or search for "SmartESS" in your device's app store.
- **Create Account**: Open the SmartESS app, tap the "Register" button, and follow the prompts to create a new account.
- **Add Datalogger**: Log in to your account, click the "Add Datalogger" button (usually a "+" icon). Scan the PN (Product Number) on the Wi-Fi Plug Pro module or input it manually. Provide the required information to complete adding the datalogger.

3.3 Wireless Router Connection
Connect the Wi-Fi Plug Pro to your local Wi-Fi network:
- **Connect to Datalogger Wi-Fi**: Select the Wi-Fi network named "Wi-Fi Plug Pro PN" (where PN is the product number) on your phone. The initial password is "12345678".
- **Open Wi-Fi Config**: Open the SmartESS app and tap the "Wi-Fi Config" button.
- **Network Setting**: Tap "Network Setting" and enter your router's Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.
- **Reconnect**: After the Wi-Fi Plug Pro is restarted, reconnect your phone to the Wi-Fi network you configured in step 3.1.

4. Operating Instructions
Once the Wi-Fi Plug Pro-03 is installed and configured, you can monitor your solar inverter remotely:
